One Moon, one Ramadhan, one Eid and one Ummah!! The agent rulers once again divided the Ummah tun Wahidah on the issue of Ramadhan
These agent rulers once again divided the Ummah tun Wahida (the one Ummah) on the issue of starting the month of Ramadhan. By rejecting the moon-sighting of the Arabs and the Ajam (non-Arabs), these rulers have not only fractured the unity and oneness of the Ummah but they have also forced millions of people to lose their first fast of Ramadhan. According to the Hadith of the Messenger of Allah (saaw) all Muslims should start their fasting of the month of Ramadhan on the sighting of the moon and should end the month of Ramadhan and celeberate Eid if the moon is sighted anywhere. The Hadith does not put any restriction of race, color, nationality or country. Hence if the Muslims living in a certain area sight the moon then it is enough for the rest of the Muslims. But unfortunately, these rulers rejected this hukam of Islam and introduced the bidha' (innovation) of national-sighting based on the concept of nation-state. This is in obedience to the same policy which was announced by the British Foreign Minster Lord Curzon after the destruction of the Khilafah "Caliphate". He said: "We must put an end to anything which brings about any Islamic unity between the sons of the Muslims. As we have already succeeded in finishing off the Caliphate, so we must ensure that there will never arise again unity for the Muslims, whether it be intellectual or cultural unity." We call upon the Ummah to reject nationalistic moon-sighting and follow the sighting of the Ummah. This controversy of moon-sighting has erupted due to the absence of the Khilafah "Caliphate" and it will die its natural death once the Khilafah "Caliphate" is establishment by the Will of Allah.
