The Minister of Foreign Affairs in the new Syrian administration, Asaad Al-Sheibani, made a shuttle tour in which he visited Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the Emirates and Jordan. This came in conjunction with delegations from Western and foreign countries that land daily in the capital, Damascus, starting with the American, the French, the German and other delegations.

It’s been almost 16 months since October the 7th, and the world watches in shock as no one has made any real attempts to resolve the situation. This week, when the ceasefire was announced, it was hailed as a victory with people across the world, and within Gaza, celebrating the news.

The Jordanian Foreign Ministry and the Palestinian Authority Presidency condemned the publication by official accounts, affiliated with the Jewish entity, of maps of the region that include parts of the occupied Palestinian territories, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria, and claim that they are “historical to Israel,” and the two sides denounced calls to annex the West Bank and establish settlements in Gaza.
