Obituary of a Dawah Carrier
[وَبَشِّرِ الصَّابِرِينَ الَّذِينَ إِذَا أَصَابَتْهُمْ مُصِيبَةٌ قَالُوا إِنَّا للهِ وَإِنَّا إِلَيْهِ رَاجِعُونَ]
“Give good news to those who patiently endure— who say, when struck by a disaster, “Surely to Allah we belong and to Him we will ˹all˺ return.” [Al-Baqarah 2:155-156]

With hearts that believe in Allah's will, we received the news of the death of our brother and honorable father:

Hajj Hazem Mohammed Yahya Al-Raho

Friday, 22 November 2024, Hajj Hazem Mohammed Yahya Al-Raho, may Allah have mercy on him, was one of the first to carry the call with sincerity, with high ambition, working with his eyes fixed on the Khilafah (Caliphate) State. His age, which exceeded eighty years, and the chronic illness that confined him to bed, did not prevent him from following events and spreading ideas.

In this regard, the Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Iraq extends its deepest condolences to the family of the deceased. We also offer our condolences to ourselves and all the carriers of the call, asking Allah the Almighty to bestow His Vast Mercy upon him, to bestow upon him His pleasure and forgiveness, and to place him in His Spacious Gardens with the prophets, the truthful, the martyrs, and the righteous. What excellent companions they are! And to inspire his family and relatives with patience and solace, and not to deprive us of his reward or make us go astray.
