On Tuesday, July 23, 2024, a delegation of Hizb ut Tahrir in Ukraine, consisting of three people, visited the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in Kyiv. This visit was part of a worldwide campaign organized by the Central Media Office of Hizb ut-Tahrir entitled “O Ummah, A Plea from Uzbekistan’s Prisoners of Conscience." 

September 16, 2020, Southern District Military Court of the Russian Federation in Rostov-on-Don pronounced a verdict against 8 Muslims from Crimea in so-called "second Bakhchisaray case of Hizb ut Tahrir". 7 people were sentenced to terms ranging from 13 to 19 years. Trial and judicial proceedings last for three years.

On 2nd April 2019, a two member delegation of Hizb ut Tahrir in Ukraine visited the embassy of People's Republic of China in Kiev. The visit was a part of Hizb ut Tahrir’s global campaign in support of the brutally oppressed Uighyr Muslims in China.
