The International Organization for Migration of the United Nations (IOM) announced, on Thursday 12/11/2020, that 74 migrants were killed as their boat sank off the Libyan coast. In a statement, the organization declared that “another devastating shipwreck in the Central Mediterranean, which has claimed the lives of at least 74 migrants off the coast of Khums, Libya.”

On Friday 5th June 2020, Facebook once again unjustly closed down the English page of the Women’s Section in the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir with no valid justification. This is the third time the Facebook administration has taken this move, having failed to provide us any reason for their previous closure of our pages, even though requested.
