14th November there began mass searches in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent, in the houses of Muslims in one way or another connected with the political party Hizb ut Tahrir. The searches were held for several days, as a result more than 80 Muslims were detained. After the long interrogations, 7 Muslims were arrested. During the interrogations they asked about the involvement in Hizb ut Tahrir.

On Sunday 17th September, the aid agency Save the Children warned that Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh could die due to lack of food, shelter, and basic hygiene supplies.
