The Rulers of Muslims are the Protectors of the Jewish Entity

Regarding normalization with the Jewish entity, Pakistan's foreign minister said on 24 September 2023, “We take decisions based on our interests and the interests of Palestinians.” The only interest of the Ummah regarding the Jewish occupation is the Command of Allah ﷻ. The eradication of this cancer from the body of the Ummah will not be at the hands of these incompetent rulers. It will not be by the efforts of individuals or groups, no matter how courageous and sacrificing they are. It will only by the armies’ removing these rulers and mobilizing to liberate all of Palestine.

Rabi ul-Awwal’s Lessons

In Rabi ul Awwal, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was appointed for all the peoples, the Arab and the non-Arab, the African and the Asian, the European and the American. Rabi ul Awwal was witness to another gift, that of the Hijrah of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to establish Islam as a state for the first time, in Madinah, Al-Munawwara, illuminated by the light of Guidance. O Muslims! Let Rabi ul-Awwal and the gifts it witnessed inspire us to raise the message of Islam, as a comfort for the oppressed and a stern warning to the oppressor rulers. Let the gratitude for its gifts grant us the patience and fortitude to be unwavering in our march for Islam, despite the oppression of the tyrant rulers. Let our love of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ spur us to strip away the false borders of nationalism that have divided us into over fifty countries and unify us as one Khilafah state under the flag of La Ilaha Ila Allah Muhammad ur- RasulAllah.

The Revenues Raised from Oil and Gas Are Spent on Looking After the Affairs of Muslims

The Ministry of Finance released a report on 21 September 2023, about the financial performance of entities in the oil and gas sector. According to this report, the one year profit of two oil and gas companies, OGDCL and PPL, is 150 billion rupees. If the declared profit of two companies alone is this much, what of the profits of the others? Islam has declared oil and gas reserves, their refineries and distribution companies as public property. The coming Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood will declare all oil and gas companies as public property. It will spend the revenues obtained from oil and gas only on the needs of the public, as the people are partners in its ownership.

State Ownership of Heavy Industry

Due to the current, capitalist model of financing, the government of Pakistan is taking new loans to pay interest on previous, growing debt. In Islam, the Khilafah (Caliphate) state does not allow the un-Islamic financing model. It rejects riba (interest) driven banks, capital markets and stock exchanges. Instead, business is undertaken through Islamic company partnerships. It makes it difficult to collect the huge capital required for capital intensive industry, such as large scale manufacturing. Thus, the government directly invests in capital intensive industry. Moreover, the Khilafah will have huge investment in sectors such as telecommunications, vehicle manufacture, heavy machinery production, military industry and  state-of-the-art technology. The profits of these businesses will be available for state expenditure. Similarly, state buildings, lands and properties are also part of state ownership. Thus, unlike Democracy, the state in the Khilafah is neither poor, nor burdened with debt.

Riba Based Loans are Destroying the Economy

This year, the government is paying 2,000 billion rupees to private power plants as capacity payments for electricity power generation. The lion’s share of this amount will be paid to banks as interest payments. The main purpose of imposing a huge tax burden on electricity bills is the interest-based payments of the government. In this way, the Ummah is being crushed from all sides. The democratic capitalist system is itself a curse. It allows riba transactions that drown us in any debt. Success in this world and the hereafter is not possible for Muslims under this democratic system. The time has come to bury this un-Islamic system in Pakistan and establish Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood.

Setting a Minimum Wage Does not End the Suffering of Workers and Labourers

The Chairman of Sindh Minimum Wage Board announced on 26 September 2023 that the minimum monthly wage of skilled workers in the province will be Rs. 33,280, whilst the monthly wage of unskilled workers will be Rs. 32,000. Capitalism does not eliminate poverty from society. It does not take responsibility for providing food, clothing and shelter. Hence, the concept of minimum wage was introduced to give the labourer barely enough to survive and continue working. On the other hand, Islam does not speak of a minimum wage. Instead the Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood uses resources from Zakah, public property, and state property to meet the basic needs of all those who, despite employment, cannot meet their basic needs.

Pakistan Does not Need a New Political Party Alone, but a New System

On 26 September, former Prime Minister Khaqan Abbasi said that a new political party is needed in Pakistan. In the history of Pakistan, if not hundreds, then dozens of parties were formed. Some of them even attained authority, but the destiny of Pakistan did not change. It continues to decline. In reality, what is truly needed is not a new political party in a failed system, but instead a new system altogether.  The democratic capitalist system has completely failed and to cover up this failure, a failed experiment was done in the name of 'Naya Pakistan.' Now an attempt is being made to repeat the same failed experiment, in the form of a new party. Now is the time to bury the failed democratic capitalist system and establish Khilafh (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood.
