The Police is an Armed, Disciplined Professional Force It does not agree for itself to be an Instrument for Opening Malicious Files

At exactly half past twelve in the afternoon on Sunday 25th Rabii' al-Awwal 1435 AH, corresponding to 26th January 2014 CE, a police force from the Abu Jubayha (presidential) locality snatched Brother Junayd Ali Al-Junayd, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan, and dragged him along with a police escort. They then opened a file against him under the Articles 66 and 69 of the Sudanese Criminal Law, and told him they would present him to the prosecutor on Monday morning, which they have not yet done at the time of writing this statement. Article 66 highlights publishing false news, while Article 69 concerns breach of public peace.

The origin of the police is that of an armed, disciplined professional force that implements the law, and does not settle for itself to be a tool of the regime that governs with other than what Allah has revealed, exploited to open malicious files that do not meet the elements of crime provided in the manmade law. A force exploited to punish the carriers of the Islamic flag, seeking to resume the Islamic way of life through the establishment of the rightly guided Khilafah "Caliphate".

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Sudan in the face of this act committed by the Abu Jubayha Police, raise the following questions towards them and those who stand behind them:

First: Is it not true that the government has failed to maintain the unity of the country, signing the acquiescent act in Nevasha, whereby the South separated? Is it not that the country thereby lost 75% of its petroleum wealth that went South?!

Second: Is it not true that the government is unable to exploit the country's resources and wealth which Allah has endowed upon it in form of vast tracts of fertile land, and water from different sources? Is not the government thereby making all of it a mortgage to the foreign capitalists and their companies, under the banners of investment and privatization?!

Third: Is it not true that the government is neglectful of its Shar'i obligation of taking care of the affairs of the people, because it is not originally based on the idea of well-being as found in Islam? Rather the government is based on the Western capitalist system, which is based on the collection of wealth from the people!

These are the facts listed by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan in its publication, issued on Friday, 23rd Rabii' al-Awwal 1435 AH, corresponding to 24th January 2014, under the title : "Recurrence and Continuity of the Bread and Fuel Crises Confirm the Government's Incompetence and its Failure in Solving Problems", based on which Brother Junayd Ali Al-Junayd was arrested.

Where is the "false news" in what we reported? Where is the "breach of public peace"?!

The regime knows that what we reported is true and right, and that the solutions we have mentioned are the correct solutions, because they are based on the Ummah's Aqeedah, the great Aqeedah of Islam. Why are then the carriers of the flag of truth arrested, and false accusations pinned against them? While they are the first to know that these accusations cannot stand against the truth in the very first trial session? The regime has tried and tested this tactic over and over again, but it will not decrease the determination of the Shabab. Rather it will increase their conviction of the truth they are carrying, and it will only add to their steadfastness. The regime and its lackeys are the failures in this world through their deviation from the path of Allah, and the failures in the Hereafter, when people will be gathered bare between the hands of the One Judge.
