Hizb-ut Tahrir Demonstrated Countrywide Against the Abduction of Naveed Butt Six Months since Spokesman of Hizb-ut Tahrir Naveed Butt Abducted by Oppressive Rulers

Hizb-ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan organized countrywide protests against the abduction of its spokesman, Naveed Butt and his non recovery even after the lapse of six months. These protests were held in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Protesters held banners and placards declaring "The abduction of Hizb-ut Tahrir's Spokesman Naveed Butt will never stop the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate"" and "Naveed Butt held in abduction for six months for raising his voice against the American Raj."

Speakers addressed protesters announcing it has been six months since Naveed Butt's abduction by government agencies; has yet to be released or nominated in any court hearing. They said the crime of Naveed Butt is that he exposes the treacheries of the rulers and demands the end of American Raj and calls for the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate" in Pakistan. In order to achieve these objectives, he pursued peaceful political struggle. The speakers also added that these rulers must know their lowly tactics further motivate the Hizb and its Shabab. They said rulers and their agencies must have realized now that the abduction of Naveed Butt has failed to scare and curtail Hizb and its Shabab activities. Recent statements of General Kayani and the one sided propaganda against Hizb-ut Tahrir in the media is further proof of this fact that these oppressive acts instead multiplied the Hizb's struggle. The abduction of Naveed Butt will not succeed in stopping Hizb-ut Tahrir and its Shabab from the struggle to establish the Khilafah "Caliphate" state. Speakers demanded the immediate release of Naveed Butt and warned the rulers that the soon to come Khilafah "Caliphate" will account them for their treacheries and crimes which they have committed against this Ummah and their severity of accountability will be even harsher on the Day of Judgment.

Protesters chanted slogans against traitors within the political and military leadership and called for the release of Naveed Butt and the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate". At the end of the protest, protesters dispersed peacefully while chanting slogans against democracy in favour for Khilafah "Caliphate".
