A Hizb ut-Tahrir  delegation led by Tahir Sodozai lodged a protest with the senior officer at the Bangladesh Consulate and delivered a press release issued by Hizb ut-Tahrir's Deputy Spokesman in Pakistan, Imran Yusufzai, in which Hizb ut-Tahrir exposed the crimes of Sheikh Hasina,

On 28th of April, two senior officers of a secret agency visited a house of Hizb ut-Tahrir members and requested to meet them. As per the standard Hizb ut-Tahrir policy, they refused to meet them. These officers remained there for three hours and tried to get information from their relatives. During the conversation they signalled their intention to link Hizb ut-Tahrir with Model Town bombing in case of non "co-operation".

Today Hizb ut-Tahrir conducted press conferences in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad. Lahore press conference was addressed by the spokesman of Hizb ut-Tahrir in Pakistan Naveed Butt whilst Hizb's deputy spokesmen Shahzad Shaikh and Imran Yousafzai addressed the conferences in Karachi and Lahore respectively.

Hizb ut-Tahrir held demonstrations in Karachi, Lahore, Islamabad and Peshawar against the kidnapping and torture of its worker, Arsalan Qamar. Twenty-one year Arsalan Qamar is a computer engineer and a vibrant activist for the establishment of Khilafah "Caliphate". Two sleuths of a government agency kidnapped Arsalan on Friday 2nd April at 5 p.m. when he was about to enter a bus at University road, Karachi.
