Hizb ut Tahrir/ Wilayah Syria organized a widespread campaign in the towns of East Ghouta, Damascus to expose the falsehood of a "civil state". The Hukm of Islam clearly defined in this and the calling for it. The campaign included a car procession, stands in the town squares, and distributions of flyers about the civil state and its Islamic ruling regarding it. The campaign took place in the following towns: Ein Tirma, Suqba, Haza, Hamouria, Arbeen, Jisreen, Kufr Batna and Misraba. It concluded with a speech in one of the mosques in Dooma.
