Darkness will not Defeat Light as long as there are the Steadfast upon the Truth
(Translated)

The carrying of the call is a trust carried by Muslims over the years; it is the duty of the Muslims today to carry it until the return of Islam to its former state of pride and strength of existence, and how are we in need for this today, Allah (swt) says in His noble Book:

(وَمَنْ أَحْسَنُ قَوْلًا مِّمَّن دَعَا إِلَى اللَّهِ وَعَمِلَ صَالِحًا وَقَالَ إِنَّنِي مِنَ الْمُسْلِمِين)

“And who is better in speech than one who invites to Allah and does righteousness and says, "Indeed, I am of the Muslims.” [Fussilat: 33]

In order to carry the call and offer it to the people, we must be deserving of carrying it, able to propagate it to the fullest and in the way that pleases Allah and His Messenger.

The war raged against Islam and its people, especially the Dawah carriers. So you see them work hard to distort the Dawah and stick charges to it, and they introduce the ideas and rules of kufr in it, for example they introduce the ideas democracy, freedoms and social justice to Islam, which are all the rules of kufr. They want to confuse the Muslims about their Deen, so they no longer differentiate between Truth and Falsehood, or what is from Allah and what is man-made. They want to spoil the call for the Dawah carriers, and weaken the steadfastness of Muslims and the Dawah carriers on their Deen and call, and this was the case of the enemies of Islam and still is, Allah (swt) says in Surat Al Baqarah:

(وَلاَ يَزَالُونَ يُقَاتِلُونَكُمْ حَتَّىَ يَرُدُّوكُمْ عَن دِينِكُمْ إِنِ اسْتَطَاعُواْ)

“And they will continue to fight you until they turn you back from your religion if they are able” [Al-Baqara: 217]

The one who carries the call must be steadfast on it, and rejects these attempts of the enemies of Islam, and must keep and adhere to all his Islamic ideas and rulings and refuses other than them, so that his ideas and rulings remain pure and pristine. This frustrates their endeavours, and they will taste their own medicine.

We see those opening prisons and detention centers, and fight the Dawah carrier by cutting off livelihoods and even cutting necks (killing), declaring war on them in all areas to come between them and carrying the call, and persist and continue on it. They may also offer him the opportunity to cooperate with them and raise large sums of money. They may offer him high positions and wealth. If they do not succeed, and the Dawah carrier remains steadfast, they will attack him by beating him up with sticks and whips, and subject him to various physical and psychological torture and harm and lock him up for many long years.

The companions of the Prophet displayed a clear example for being steadfast on the Truth; Abdullah Bin Huthafah, one of the companions of the Prophet, was captured by the Romans and taken to their king. They said: This is one of the companions of the Prophet Mohammad, the tyrant said to him: Will you convert to Christianity and share power with me? Abdullah said: If you gave me all that you have to leave the Deen of Muhammad for a blink of an eye, I will not do so. The King said: therefore I will kill you! He said: Do that. The king ordered that he is put on a cross and said to the archers throw close to his legs, and he continued to make offers to him but Abdullah refused every offer, the king then ordered that they fill up a pot with boiling water, and then ordered to bring two Muslim prisoners and he ordered that one is thrown in the hot water while he offered Christianity to Abdullah, but he refused, the king then ordered that Abdullah is thrown in the burning water, when he was brought near the water he cried, the king thought that he was scared and ordered to take him back and he offered him Christianity, but he refused, the king said to him: Why did you cry then? He said, "The reason why I cried is that if I die, I only have one soul that will die if thrown in this pot. I wished to have many souls, as the number of every hair in my body to meet Allah with this fate. The tyrant said to him: Can you accept to kiss my head and I release you? Abdullah said to him: And all the prisoners of Muslims? He said: yes and all the Muslims. Then Abdullah kissed his head, and the prisoners were released. When they returned to Omar (ra) and told him what happened, he said: "It is the right on every Muslim to kiss the head of Abdullah ibn Hudhafah”, and I will start, and he kissed Abdullah’s head.

Steadfastness on the ideology and steadfastness on the Truth needs the person to be strong with courage in carrying the call and to persist on it, and does not divert from it however difficult the situation may be or whatever are the numbers of threats and temptations. Alhaq (swt), the exalted in might, says:

(أَحَسِبَ النَّاسُ أَن يُتْرَكُوا أَن يَقُولُوا آمَنَّا وَهُمْ لَا يُفْتَنُونَ * وَلَقَدْ فَتَنَّا الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِمْ فَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ اللَّهُ الَّذِينَ صَدَقُوا وَلَيَعْلَمَنَّ الْكَاذِبِينَ)

“Do the people think that they will be left to say, "We believe" and they will not be tried? * But We have certainly tried those before them, and Allah will surely make evident those who are truthful, and He will surely make evident the liars” [Al-‘Ankabut: 2-3]

And do not forget that the Dawah carrier does not compromise nor surrender or deceive, but rather challenges defiantly and is not afraid of any blame in his quest to please Allah, and proclaims the Truth everywhere and all the time. And does not say “this is not my issue, the state will deal with all problems” but rather he is obliged to enjoin the good and forbid the evil, and has to expose everything that contradicts Islam with thought, behaviour, method and plans. He must not be afraid in that except from Allah even if he is subjected to arrest and torture and if targeted by his family and his money and his livelihood. He should be confident that Ajal (the term) and livelihood is in Allah’s hand alone.

I end with what came in a statement issued by Hizb ut Tahrir on 25/06/1977 entitled "The Islamic Creed is a Doctrine of Struggle and Strife", in the context of the creed, Paradise and Hellfire, here is the text:

“The evidence of this is conclusive evidence in its certainty and meaning. If a person believes in it, he will trivializes every torment in this world that he encounters for the sake of his creed, and for the sake of steadfastness on it, and in order for it to remain strong and dominant over the human beings. If man believes in Paradise and all the blessings therein and if he believes in Hellfire and the great torment therein, and this definite creed is a sensed reality, conceived in the minds as a fact then any torture of human beings other than that is belittled, from the torture of the creatures, this makes the believer a solid mountain not affected by the whips of the criminals or the prison of the fallen or the torment of those detested, rather he bears the torture for the sake of his creed".
“This part of the creed alone is enough to reveal the secret of this doctrine and how it turned Abdullah bin Masood, whose feet were shaken by the wind to become a great man whose feet to Allah are firmer than Mount of Uhud. And this is a clear explanation of the revolution of Suhaib, Bilal and Salman against their masters. It is the only motive that made Yasser, Ammar's father welcomes the death under the torture of the kufar of Quraish, and made Sumaiyah Islam’s first martyr, receive of the stab in the heart, the stab that led to her death, with hope in this difficult matter of the reward, for the sake of Allah; this is what the Messenger of Allah addressed the souls of his companions with in the face of the punishment of Quraish; he passed by the family of Yasser and said "Patience Al-Yasser, your appointment is paradise...”

We say to those who love Allah and love the Messenger of Allah and who believe in him and did not see him, those who did not find any assistance upon the truth, we say to them think of the reality of your predecessor and the reality of your creed and revive it again and keep this vision of the reality until Allah opens (the doors of victory) for you and the promised day comes. Perhaps it will be soon.
