Pakistan Headlines 07/12/2014

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم

Democracy is a Dead Horse and it is Pointless to Keep Flogging it

Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan addressed supports assembled at D-Chowk to hear him reveal the next move of the party on 30 November. "It has been 109 days and Naya Pakistan is waking up every day. We can all see it," Imran said. Criticising the government and Pakistan People's Party, Khan said they colluded to rig the 2013 election.

It is time for the opposition to wake up. The dream of a Naya (New) Pakistan will never occur, in another 109 days, months or years, as long as Democracy exists. Even if elections in Democracy became fair, Democracy will always secures the rulers exploit the wealth of the country, whilst the masses are plunged into hardship. As for America, the global standard bearer for Democracy and the master of Pakistan's regime, the concentration of wealth in the hands of a few under Democracy is glaringly evident. On 9 January 2014, the New York Times reported that, "The median net worth for lawmakers in the House and Senate was $1,008,767 - up 4.4 percent ... according to the analysis, conducted by the nonprofit Center for Responsive Politics, which examines the influence of money on politics in Washington."  As for Pakistan, a survey carried out by Pakistan Institute of Legislative Development and Transparency (PILDAT), that was subsequently covered in many newspapers, exposed how the average total wealth of Members of Pakistan's National Assembly tripled in only six years.

Democracy, which US Ambassador Olson described as "our horse in Pakistan" is dead. There is no point flogging it any more. Abolish Democracy. Establish Khilafah "Caliphate".

Abolish Democracy, Establish Khilafah "Caliphate" for Real Change

On 30 December 2014, Imran Khan announced a plan to "shut down the country." Today, Imran Khan is to Pakistan in 2014 what Iftikhar Chaudhary was to Pakistan in 2007 and what Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto was to Sindh in 1967. All of the above three men led their nation to believe that revolution is a man or an individual and not new ideas and new laws. That what ills the nation is the fallacies of corruptible men and not the fallacies of corrupt ideas and a corrupt governing system. That revival of a society is based on its blind trust in a man not a deep conviction about ideas which should govern society and whether those ideas are correct or not.

What is rotten in Pakistan is not just an elite political class which looks out for itself at the expense of the nation. Neither is a political gladiator required to wage war upon the incumbent elites. What is rotten in Pakistan is the ideas on which ruling is done in Pakistan. The idea of democracy and the economy of capitalism.

We know the fate of two of the three men. And we know what would happen to the third. Because revolution is not a man but an idea. And like the other two men before him Imran Khan's focus is on individuals not ideas or system. Khilafah "Caliphate" for Pakistan and the Muslim World.

Regime Plays Lip-Service to Self-Reliance

Speaking at the inaugural session of the International Defence Exhibition and Seminar (Ideas 2014) at Expo Centre in Karachi on 2 December, Nawaz Sharif said, "This self-reliance holds its multi-dimensional benefits, inclusive of economic empowerment and adequate protection of the country's sovereignty."

Of what self-reliance, economic empowerment and protection of sovereignty is the regime speaking of? In economy, it implements the colonialist plan to deny Pakistan full benefit of its immense mineral and energy resources through privatization. It has strangulated what little industry Pakistan has, with taxation and power cuts, compelling frustrated manufacturers to trading in foreign made goods. Regarding protection, the regime allows a vast network of American intelligence and private military to supervise attacks on our armed forces, to herd them into the tribal areas, to grant the cowardly American troops in Afghanistan relief from the fierce resistance of Muslims. The regime betrays the Muslims, wasting their blessings and turning their abode into an abode of destruction.

Only the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" will provide these Muslim lands security and prosperity. The Khilafah "Caliphate" will manage energy and mineral resources as Islam mandates, a public property for the benefit of the Muslims. It will establish a substantial heavy industry of the country, including manufacture of engines and machinery. It will establish a foreign policy upon Dawah and Jihad, liberating occupied lands, inviting the nations to embrace Islam and obliterating the hegemony of the belligerent hostile states. This is how the Muslims will be honored in this life and rewarded in the next, upon abolishing the oppressive rule and establishing the Khilafah "Caliphate" on the methodology of the Prophethood.

Neither Opposition nor Regime Have Vision Outside Foreign Ideas

After the government signaled that it could be open to talks with the protesting Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI), the latter cautiously reciprocated on 2 December, saying that if both sides could sit across the table, the party would consider deferring its call for shutdowns in major urban centres. It was inevitable that the two sides would grow closer, as neither has ideas that would change the status quo.

Societies are built based on ideas about political organization of society. The organization of society without ideas is not possible. Absolutely not possible. It doesn't happen. So what happens when a country's politicians insist that corruption exists in individuals and not ideas? What if the politicians ignore ideas altogether? Well if you don't focus on ideas, or are not interested in ideas this doesn't mean that you will not adopt them. For societies need ideas. What will happen is that you will adopt them unknowingly. Can this happen? Can you really adopt ideas about your own life and your own society without knowing? Yes. It can happen, if you are focused on individuals.

You simply adopt the ideas of your previous generation, or the ideas of the dominant power and civilization of the world, or the ideas prevalent or in vogue at the time you were alive and politically active. So what's wrong with that? Adopting foreign ideas unknowingly ? Well if you adopt foreign ideas jihad becomes terrorism, interest on loans becomes finance, Palestine becomes a nation state instead of holy land, international law stops you from liberating your occupied lands, mixing between men and women becomes fashion and hudood become violations of human rights. If you are fine with that then there is nothing wrong with adopting foreign ideas. But if you are not fine with that then work for a new political system not just a new leadership. Work for Khilafah "Caliphate", not democracy.

General Raheel Endorses America's False Claim that America's Crusade is Pakistan's War

On 4 December 2014, General Raheel declared that Pakistan's current enemy "lives within us and looks like us", referring to the military operations in the tribal regions, from where Muslims have launched devastating attacks against the American occupying forces in Afghanistan. Thus, General Raheel confirmed the false American claim that the war in the tribal areas is Pakistan's war.

America first made this false claim because it knows the great capability of Pakistan's armed forces in ending foreign occupation of Muslim Land. It observed that when the Soviet Union invaded Afghanistan, the highly capable intelligence of Pakistan's armed forces, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI), organized and enabled the tribal fighters against the Russian occupation, bloodying Russia's nose such that she withdrew completely and never dared to return since. So, now that America itself invaded Afghanistan, Pakistan's armed forces have the ability to drive her out of the region forever. America also knows that North Waziristan is the key to Pakistan's strategic depth in the region, protecting its lands and people from harm.

So, in order to simultaneously divide the Muslims, sink the armed forces into a quagmire of civil war and amputate Pakistan's strategic depth, America specifically claimed that the war against the tribals is Pakistan's war. Accompanying its claim, America used its own intelligence and private military, the Raymond Davis network, to orchestrate attacks against Pakistan's armed forces and civilians, in order to blacken the reputation of the tribal resistance and create divisions within Pakistan. It is through these false flag attacks, organized by America's terrorist network and blamed on the sincere tribal resistance, that America aims to malign the pure Jihad against the Kuffar occupiers, so that its agents in Pakistan's leadership are able to execute its plan.
