The Martyrdom of Hasan Sakalan from Şanlıurfa Reminded us that Al-Quds is the Relic of Islam and the Caliphate!

It was determined that 34-year-old Hasan Sakalan has been working as a full-time imam in Sanliurfa for 6 years and went to Al-Quds via Jordan on a tourist visa. (Agencies)

Hundreds of thousands of Muslims have been martyred so far in Palestine. However, the martyrdom of Hasan Sakalan from Şanlıurfa has a different meaning, a different significance and nature because he did with his own means what the leaders and commanders, who have all kinds of opportunities and potentials, all kinds of weapons and power, could not do. He showed the courage and will that they could not show. He spoke the language understood by the Zionist terrorist gang, hit them with a knife in his hand, and eventually joined the martyrs.

May Allah accept the martyrdom of this valiant brother of ours, who sacrificed his life for Islam. Let his place be paradise, his position be the highest. May Allah grant patience to his family.

The martyrdom of our brother Hasan from Şanlıurfa also reminded us again of the Islamic and historical facts that secular, nationalist understanding wants to make us forget. He reminded that Palestine is not only the issue of the Muslims living there or only the Arabs, but on the contrary, it is the common cause of all Muslims.

Hasan Corporal from Igdır was a soldier in the army of the Ottoman Caliphate State who fought against the British on the Palestinian front in 1917. What makes him historical is his flawless love and loyalty to al-Quds. He did not accept the removal of the Ottoman army from al-Quds, which had lost the war due to the withdrawal of commanders such as Mustafa Kemal, who said, “What is the Turkish soldier doing in the Arabian deserts?” where he had been patronized for 400 years, and continued to stand guard at the Al-Aqsa Mosque until he died in 1982.

The words of the commander, who bequeathed Hasan from Igdir to stay there, besides being jarring, shed light on the future in terms of the importance of Palestine and its return to its original:

"Al Quds is an heirloom of Sultan Selim to us. Keep the vigil here. Don't people say ‘Ottoman also left, what will be our situation be!'. If the Ottoman Caliphate also leaves the first qibla of the prophet, it will be a feast for the disbelievers.

Yes, it is a pity that the infidels (kuffar) celebrated a holiday with the departure of the Ottoman army and the destruction of the Caliphate State. The Jewish state was established as a poisoned dagger over the Blessed Palestinian land where our first Qibla was located. Just as Zionist bandits have committed many massacres and genocides in Palestine for 76 years, they have been committing the most barbaric and despicable inhumanity in human history in Gaza for 7 months. No Muslim can remain silent to this brutality, this humiliation. He should not stay either.

Because Palestine is a sacred Islamic land that was conquered by Omar, saved by Saladin, and protected by Abdulhamid, Palestine is not for sale; it is not the subject of negotiations. Palestine cannot be divided between the Palestinian people and the usurping Jews in accordance with the two-state Deceptive plan. The treatment that should be carried out against the Zionist soldiers who are occupying the Palestinian territories should be the treatment of Hasan Saklan from Urfa.

What needs to be done is to show everyone that Al-Quds is not derelict, and that even if the leaders betray, the Islamic Ummah will never be normalized by the Jewish presence. What needs to be done is to mobilize the armies following the example of our righteous ancestors, to purify Al-Quds from the Jewish presence and to protect this holy relic of Islam by establishing the second Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) State. The Al-Aqsa Flood and the events that happened with it have shown that the Islamic ummah is ready and able to do all these things by Allah's permission.

What needs to be done is to show friend to enemy that Jerusalem, Al-Quds, is not derelict, and that even if the leaders betray, the Islamic Ummah will never be normalized by the Jewish presence. What needs to be done is to mobilize the armies following the example of our righteous predecessors to cleanse Jerusalem from the Jewish presence and to protect this holy relic of Islam by establishing the second Rashidi Caliphate State. The Al-Aqsa Flood and the events that happened with it have shown that the Islamic ummah is ready and able to do all these things by Allah's permission.

In the Sahih of Ibn Hibban, it is narrated that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said from Ubayy bin Ka'b:

«بَشِّرْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةَ بِالسَّنَاءِ وَالرِّفْعَةِ وَالنُّصْرَةِ وَالتَّمْكِينِ فِي الْأَرْضِ»

“This ummah is heralded with victory, exaltation and conquest of the earth.”
