Erdogan's Temporary Suspension of Trade with the Jewish Entity is Nothing More Than Fooling the Public

Responding to journalists' questions on the current agenda after the Friday Prayer, President Erdoğan said, "The whole West is working for "Israel". Against this, we could no longer be patient and we took our steps. There was a trade volume of 9.5 billion dollars between us. We closed this door by ignoring this trade volume. Erdogan is promoting what he should have done since 7 October as a blessing to the Turkish public opinion after about 7 months. Interestingly, has the Erdogan government, which restricted the export of 54 product groups to the Zionist entity on 9 April 2024, now decided to completely stop exports and imports? The reason, of course, cannot be that the Jewish entity is committing more genocide and massacres, because the Jewish entity has been doing so since 7 October, even since 1948. Erdoğan is not the kind of person who would easily give up $9.5 billion for the 34,000 Palestinian brothers and sisters who were martyred in a time of economic crisis. If he were such a person, he would have immediately stopped trading with the Jewish entity as of 7 October. If the people had not protested against the ministers at the election rallies and had not reflected their protests at the election polls, the Erdogan government would not have suspended the trade with the Jewish entity, which it denies in the open eyes of the Turkish public.

So obviously, either something has frightened Erdogan or he has found an alternative and has temporarily suspended trade with the Jewish entity. It is noteworthy that the suspension of trade with the Jewish entity comes in the wake of the student protests that swept the US and the West. Erdogan, already struggling with the economic crisis, does not want to face protests similar to those of 2013. Probably because of this fear, he has temporarily halted trade with the Jewish entity. Or he will continue his commercial relations with the Jewish entity through the alternative route he has found through Azerbaijan. This is confirmed by Jewish Foreign Minister Katz's statement in X that he "instructed to find alternatives that focus on imports from other countries". Or it will continue its trade with the Jewish entity through the traitorous government in the West Bank. The statement made by the Turkish Ministry of Commerce that "The necessary work is being coordinated between our Ministry of Commerce and the Palestinian Ministry of National Economy in order to ensure that our Palestinian brothers and sisters who have to live under occupation are not affected by these restrictions" can also be considered as proof of this. Therefore, Erdoğan's suspension of trade with the Jewish entity, especially at a time of economic crisis, is nothing more than fooling the Turkish public opinion.

Moreover, Turkey, "All exports and imports with "Israel" are suspended until a permanent ceasefire is reached and aid is allowed to enter Gaza without interruption."  This suggests that the pro-American Erdogan may have suspended trade with the Jewish entity in order to force the Jewish entity into the American project of a ceasefire and a two-state solution. The fact that such a move came after Erdogan's meeting with Hamas leader Haniyeh in Istanbul and Hamas' favourable attitude towards the US ceasefire proposal is proof of this. Furthermore, according to the opposite of the above statements, after a ceasefire is reached and aid is allowed to enter, Turkey will resume its suspended trade with the Jewish entity, even though Palestine, Gaza and Al-Aqsa Mosque are under occupation and the Jewish entity continues its massacres from time to time. Another indication that Erdogan's move is intended to dupe the Turkish public is that he has not cut diplomatic, tourism and other relations with the Jewish entity that is committing genocide and brutal massacres in Gaza.

That is why expecting any good from the rulers of the Islamic countries, including Erdogan, for the people of Palestine and Gaza in particular and the Islamic Ummah in general, is like hoping for help from the devil. The traitorous rulers in the Islamic world are selfish and do not care about anything other than the interests of their masters. The genocide experienced by the Muslims of Gaza for 7 months is proof of this. Therefore, the only saviour of Muslims and Palestinians is the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliophate upon the method of the Prophethood.
