Secularism Root Cause of Social Evil

News:

A new Bill seeking to lessen the punishment sex workers face in Kenya has been submitted to parliament.
If the proposed Bill sails through, those found guilty will be punishable through alternative methods including verbal sanctions, conditional discharge, community service, rehabilitation and probation.

Comment:

The penal code (amendment) bill presented by the National Council on the Administration of Justice Reforms (NCAJ) in Kenya to the parliament only seek to strengthen social evil that has already destroyed society and leaving man- woman relationship in a state of decline and conflict. The bill aims at lowering the penalty to mere petty offence, gradually allowing adultery (prostitution) as trade and a source of revenue for the State.

Currently relations out of wedlock is legal on consensual terms and within the age requirements. This law based on mutual consent has created more social upheaval including abandoned children, abortion, single parents, divorce, pornographic industries and mother of all LGBTQ+

Secular creed views man-woman relationship as a male-female one with no consideration of what will result of the relationship. This views procreation instinct as mere sexual satisfaction that man seeks to achieve resulting in viewing a woman as means of pleasure rather than mother and honor in the society that ought to be protected. Also, lineage as a source of identification is lost in this world of glorifying sexual intercourse leaving human race void of identity.

As for the political reasons for gradual changes in the legal area on this matter is because, continent of Africa is mere recipient of secular creed, that can’t swallow the secular vice whole. In essence under the bill of rights that speculates personal freedom as sacred, any individual has a right to trade in adultery as much to be an LGBTQ member. It’s a matter of building public opinion and creating space for this vice gradually politically and legislatively.

Islam as a divine system that agrees with human nature recognizes the procreation instinct and defines its objective as that of producing offspring hence preserving lineage and human race. Also, Islam has Shariah rules that guarantees marriage as the only means to build man-woman relationship and gives heavy penalties on any individual who will cross Shariah limits i.e., flogging of adultery, 100 strokes for fornicators, segregation of sexes, etc.

[فَأَقِمۡ وَجۡهَكَ لِلدِّينِ حَنِيفٗاۚ فِطۡرَتَ ٱللَّهِ ٱلَّتِي فَطَرَ ٱلنَّاسَ عَلَيۡهَاۚ لَا تَبۡدِيلَ لِخَلۡقِ ٱللَّهِۚ ذَٰلِكَ ٱلدِّينُ ٱلۡقَيِّمُ وَلَٰكِنَّ أَكۡثَرَ ٱلنَّاسِ لَا يَعۡلَمُونَ]

“So, direct your face [i.e., self-] toward the religion, inclining to truth. [Adhere to] the fiṭrah of Allah upon which He has created [all] people. No change should there be in the creation of Allah. That is the correct religion, but most of the people do not know.” [Ar-Rum:30].
