Tyrants Use Islamic Values only to Deceive Muslims

On June 8, the news agency Radio Liberty in Tajikistan reported: “The opening ceremony of the largest mosque in Tajikistan took place in Dushanbe. The ceremony was attended by President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon and Emir of Qatar Sheikh Tamim ibn Hamad Al Thani, who arrived in Dushanbe on June 8 on a two-day state visit.

The Tajik authorities call the construction of the country's largest mosque an example of respect for religious freedom, but international human rights organizations and Western countries constantly criticize the Tajik government for restricting the religious freedoms of believers.

The foundation stone of the mosque was laid by President Rahmon in October 2009, during the celebration of the 1310th anniversary of the founder of the Hanafi madhhab, Imam Abu Hanifa.

The new Central Cathedral Mosque of Dushanbe, in the construction of which the government of Qatar has invested $ 70 million, can simultaneously accommodate 133,000 worshipers, of which 43,000 worshipers will be inside the mosque, and the rest around it”.

Comment:

The construction of large mosques has become a tradition of the dictators of Central Asia. A similar, largest mosque was opened by the first president, Nursultan Nazarbayev, in Nur-Sultan, the capital of Kazakhstan, in August last year. I. Karimov, before his death, also managed to open the Minor Mosque in the capital of Uzbekistan, Tashkent.

Thus, dictators use Islamic values and slogans in order to deceive Muslims, showing their alleged commitment to Islam and Muslims. Unfortunately, Muslims are deceived and comfort themselves with words “here they build mosques and allow us to pray”.

But Islam does not consist only of the mosque, prayer and fasting. Islam is a system for human life, society and the state. The ruler of Muslims, the Khalif (Caliph) or Imam, rules on the basis of the Quran and the Sunnah, implements Shariah in the social, economic, and political system. Health care, education, construction and worship in the state are all based on Islam. It is not enough to simply build a mosque. Allah Almighty said in His Noble Book:

[أَجَعَلْتُمْ سِقَايَةَ ٱلْحَآجِّ وَعِمَارَةَ ٱلْمَسْجِدِ ٱلْحَرَامِ كَمَنْ ءَامَنَ بِٱللَّهِ وَٱلْيَوْمِ ٱلْءَاخِرِ وَجَٰهَدَ فِى سَبِيلِ ٱللَّهِ ۚ لَا يَسْتَوُۥنَ عِندَ ٱللَّهِ ۗ وَٱللَّهُ لَا يَهْدِى ٱلْقَوْمَ ٱلظَّٰلِمِينَ]

“Do you regard the providing of water to ḥajj pilgrims and the maintenance of the Holy Mosque as similar in worth to someone who has faith in Allah and believes in the Last Day and wages jihād in the way of Allah? They are not equal with Allah, and Allah does not guide the wrongdoing” [TMQ 9:19].

Our rulers do not rule over what Allah sent down and have limited their rule within the borders drawn by the wrong colonialists based on nationalism. These tyrants do not spread Islam, do not wage jihad in the way of Allah, and do not implement Islam in their own state. Moreover, they serve only to please their masters. A few days before the opening of the mosque, on June 5, the Russian Foreign Ministry Sergei Lavrov arrived in Tajikistan and began his visit to the 201st Russian military base in Dushanbe, where they talked about the war with Ukraine. Obviously, the war against Ukraine requires resources for the Kremlin, and Rahmon dutifully provides material resources and the Muslims of Tajikistan to the service of the disbelieving colonialists.

Muslims! There is no doubt that Islam is a complete religion (Deen), where there are solutions to all problems in life. And therefore, hasten to make up for what is lost and missing in our life, namely the rule on the basis of the Quran and the Sunnah. Hurry to revive the Second Righteous State, the Khilafah, according to the method of Prophethood! And may Allah help us!
