(بَلْ أَحْيَاءٌ عِنْدَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ)

“Indeed, they are alive with their Lord, who provides them with sustenance.” [TMQ Surah Aali Imran 3:169]

News:

Sheikh Dr. Ayman al-Zawahiri has been killed by an American attacked. (August 2, 2022)

Comment:

I ask Allah (swt) that al-Zawahiri be of those whom Allah (swt) gives life with Him, sustaining them all, and that Allah (swt) would grant him the highest degrees of Paradise and contentment, as He (swt) grants him intercession for his family.

By Allah (swt), I ask Allah (swt) that al-Zawahiri be of those that Allah (swt) says,

(وَلاَ تَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ قُتِلُواْ فِي سَبِيلِ اللّهِ أَمْوَاتاً بَلْ أَحْيَاء عِندَ رَبِّهِمْ يُرْزَقُونَ * فَرِحِينَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللّهُ مِن فَضْلِهِ وَيَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِالَّذِينَ لَمْ يَلْحَقُواْ بِهِم مِّنْ خَلْفِهِمْ أَلاَّ خَوْفٌ عَلَيْهِمْ وَلاَ هُمْ يَحْزَنُونَ * يَسْتَبْشِرُونَ بِنِعْمَةٍ مِّنَ اللّهِ وَفَضْلٍ وَأَنَّ اللّهَ لاَ يُضِيعُ أَجْرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ)

“Never think of those who are martyred in the Path of Allah as being dead. In fact, they are alive with their Lord, well provided for. (169). Rejoicing in Allah’s bounties and being delighted for those yet to join them. There will be no fear for them, nor will they grieve. (170). They are joyful for receiving Allah’s grace and bounty and that Allah does not cause loss to the reward of the believers. (171).” [TMQ Surah Aali-Imran 3:169-171].

By Allah (swt), I ask Allah (swt) that the soul of al-Zawahiri be of those that the Messenger of Allah (saw) said,

«أَرْوَاحُهُمْ فِي جَوْفِ طَيْرٍ خُضْرٍ، لَهَا قَنَادِيلُ مُعَلَّقَةٌ بِالْعَرْشِ، تَسْرَحُ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ شَاءَتْ، ثُمَّ تَأْوِي إِلَى تِلْكَ الْقَنَادِيلِ، فَاطَّلَعَ إِلَيْهِمْ رَبُّهُمْ اطِّلَاعَةً، فَقَالَ: هَلْ تَشْتَهُونَ شَيْئاً؟ قَالُوا: أَيَّ شَيْءٍ نَشْتَهِي وَنَحْنُ نَسْرَحُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ حَيْثُ شِئْنَا؟ فَفَعَلَ ذَلِكَ بِهِمْ ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ. فَلَمَّا رَأَوْا أَنَّهُمْ لَنْ يُتْرَكُوا مِنْ أَنْ يُسْأَلُوا قَالُوا: يَا رَبِّ، نُرِيدُ أَنْ تَرُدَّ أَرْوَاحَنَا فِي أَجْسَادِنَا حَتَّى نُقْتَلَ فِي سَبِيلِكَ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى. فَلَمَّا رَأَى أَنْ لَيْسَ لَهُمْ حَاجَةٌ تُرِكُوا»

“Their souls live in the bodies of green birds, who have nests as chandeliers hung from the Throne. They benefit of the Jannah as they like, then they nestle in these chandeliers. Once their Lord lanced upon them and asked, “Do you desire anything else?” They replied, “What more can we desire, whilst we enjoy of the Jannah as we like?” Their Lord asks them thrice. When they saw that they would not be left until they answer, they said, “O Lord, we wish that you may return our souls to our bodies so that we may be slain again in your Path.” When their Lord saw that they are not in need, He (swt) left them.” [Muslim]

And I pray that Sheikh Al-Zawahiri obtains the dignity about which the Prophet (saw) mentioned,

«مَا أَحَدٌ يَدْخُلُ الْجَنَّةَ يُحِبُّ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا وَلَهُ مَا عَلَى الْأَرْضِ مِنْ شَيْءٍ إِلَّا الشَّهِيدُ؛ يَتَمَنَّى أَنْ يَرْجِعَ إِلَى الدُّنْيَا فَيُقْتَلَ عَشْرَ مَرَّاتٍ؛ لِمَا يَرَى مِنَ الْكَرَامَةِ»

“No one who enters Paradise loves to be returned to this world, while he has all that is on earth, expect the martyr. He wishes to return to the world and be killed ten times, for what he sees of dignity.” [Muslim]

And I ask Allah (swt) that al-Zawahiri reposes in the six rewards for the martyr that are mentioned in the Sahih Hadith,

«لِلشَّهِيدِ عِنْدَ اللَّهِ سِتُّ خِصَالٍ يَغْفِرُ لَهُ فِي أَوَّلِ دُفْعَةٍ مِنْ دَمِهِ، وَيُرَى مَقْعَدَهُ مِنْ الْجَنَّةِ، وَيُجَارُ مِنْ عَذَابِ الْقَبْرِ، وَيَأْمَنُ مِنْ الْفَزَعِ الْأَكْبَرِ، وَيُحَلَّى حُلَّةَ الْإِيمَانِ، وَيُزَوَّجُ مِنْ الْحُورِ الْعِينِ، وَيُشَفَّعُ فِي سَبْعِينَ إِنْسَاناً مِنْ أَقَارِبِهِ»

“The martyr receives six good things: he is forgiven at the first shedding of his blood, he is shown his abode in Jannah, he is saved frm the punishment in the grave, he is kept safe from the great terror, he has placed on his head the crown of honor, a ruby which is better than the world and all that it contains, he is married to seventy two wives from maidens with large dark eyes and he made an intercessor for seventy of his relatives.” [Muslim]

And what does America and other nations of kufr think of the Ummah of Islam? Will it leave Jihad in the Path of Allah (swt) and striving to establish the rule of Allah (swt) on earth? They are all doomed to loss and failure for their conjecture!

The Ummah of Islam has been mobilized by parties, groups, and mujahideen for decades, struggling against kufr, its people and agents in the arenas of thought and politics, as well as the battlefields of Jihad. This is only but one defining moment that will lend to the Nasr (Victory) of Allah the Mighty, the Compelling. So let the Ummah mobilize in its entirety for the support under the leadership of the Khaleefah, that will confound the tyrants and oppressors.

May Allah (swt) have mercy on the Sheikh, Doctor, Mujahid, Ayman Al-Zawahiri.
