Turkey's Erdogan says Solution Possible for China's Muslims

News:

Turkey's foreign ministry earlier lambasted Beijing's treatment of the Uighurs as 'a great embarrassment for humanity'.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said a solution could be found to help Muslims interned in Chinese camps "taking into account the sensitivities" of both sides, in comments published on Thursday. Turkey is one of the only Muslim-majority countries to have criticised China over the detention of an estimated one million ethnic Uighurs and other mostly Muslim minorities in the Xinjiang region.

But Erdogan struck a softer tone after meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping on Tuesday in Beijing. "I believe we can find a solution to the issue taking into account the sensitivities of both sides," Erdogan told Turkish journalists in Beijing before flying back to Turkey, according to the Hurriyet daily.

Beijing has led an increasingly repressive campaign in Xinjiang following a series of knife attacks and ethnic riots over the past 10 years. China denies holding people against their will in what it describes as "vocational education centres" aimed at steering citizens away from "religious extremism".

Turkey's foreign ministry in February lambasted China's treatment of Uighurs as "a great embarrassment for humanity", and said those in the centres and prisons were "subjected to torture and political brainwashing". (Aljazeera.com)

Comment:

On July 24th 1924, Lord Curzon, the then British Foreign Minister, declared to the House of Commons, “…Turkey (i.e. the then centre of the Khilafah) is dead and will never rise again because we have destroyed its moral strength, the Khilafah and Islam.”

Turkey’s anaemic attempt reflects more its priority to preserve its economic ties to China than to preserve the well-being of the Muslims in Uyghurstan. More glaring is the silence of our leaders who are happy to sit at Trump’s feet, spending billions of dollars of the Ummah’s wealth, strangling and killing each other in Syria, Yemen and Libya. Puppets, squandering our wealth on Western made weapons to enslave us and enable the West access to more of our wealth.

Turkey, like the others, has fallen off from the path of Rasulullah (saw) and has been put on the ‘railroad of kufr and taghut’. We are divided by jahiliyyah principles alien to our Ummah and can only respond tactically and episodically without any real permanent long term solution to the problem, be it in Uyghurstan or anywhere else in the world. Turkey cannot even save itself from the economic sabotage of the West. They are stuck in the spider's web the Kuffar have spun for them, bereft of any ideological intellectual response, still seeking ‘solutions’ to their economic, political and social problems from the very same Western constructs that have ensnared them.

We discuss China as it is in the news. It is what the West wants us to see at this time. Our tragic reality is that Muslims are persecuted all over the world, and the West constantly manipulates and meddles in our countries from Malaysia to Sudan to Egypt, Palestine and Iran. Our leaders perform sujud to the West, implement their man-made Kufr and taghut laws and systems upon us. Unsurprisingly, after decades of ‘independence’ we remain forever divided, still enslaved by colonial powers, unable to unite and mount a credible, sustained response to those that invade and kill us. Unable to be truly liberated.

The 21st century CE sees the Islamic Ummah terrorised, enslaved and divided.

No strategic response is possible without a permanent power structure that has the authority from Islam that works to prepare and prevent the harm to the Islamic Ummah as well as to protect the wider humanity from exploitation from the colonial West. Rasulullah (saw) has made it clear that our protection is behind the Ameerul Mu’mineen. Abu Hurairah (Radhiallahu Anhu) narrated that Rasulullah (saw) said,

«إِنَّمَا الْإِمَامُ جُنَّةٌ يُقَاتَلُ مِنْ وَرَائِهِ وَيُتَّقَى بِهِ فَإِنْ أَمَرَ بِتَقْوَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ وَعَدَلَ كَانَ لَهُ بِذَلِكَ أَجْرٌ وَإِنْ يَأْمُرْ بِغَيْرِهِ كَانَ عَلَيْهِ مِنْهُ»

The Imam is like a shield whose orders should be obeyed when they (the Muslims) fight, and where they should seek protection. If he enjoins fear of Allah and behaves justly, then he will be rewarded, but if he enjoins otherwise, then it will be a burden (of sin) on him."

However, we seek not merely justice and protection from those that would harm us, but we seek the Redha of Allah (swt) and He has made it clear that the Believers are to live by Islam alone, not the rules of the colonialist enslavers.

“Judge between them by that which Allah has revealed and follow not their desires and beware of them lest they seduce you from some part of that which Allah has revealed to you” [T.T.Q. 5:49]
