Mr Ambassador Stop Lecturing on Peaceful Elections as your Administration is an Enemy of Peace

News:

US Ambassador to Kenya Robert Godec has said the US administration has no preferred candidate in the August polls. He urged the political parties to promote their policies peacefully. Speaking in Gasi Kwale County Mr Godec said the US would like to see a peaceful election and democratic outcome. He said those who were unsatisfied with the outcome of the election results or the process should seek constitutional bodies like the courts to address their issues.  [,Standard Newspaper, February 28th 2017]

Comment:

The sentiments raised by US Ambassador come a few months of President Uhuru Kenyatta's warning against interference by foreign nations in the poll set for August 8. In his speech in commemorating 52nd of Kenya’s independence at Nyayo National Stadium on December 12th of last year, the President publicly claimed external powers are seeking to influence the 2017 Presidential poll results even as he pledged to concede if he is defeated in the epic race. Too critic of Kenyan Political leadership the US Embassy in Kenya has been facing strong criticism from the Kenyan politicians. Few years back Godec predecessor Michael Ranneberger was the subject of a censure motion in Kenya’s Parliament that accused him of violating the nation's sovereignty and portraying its leaders in a "negative light".

For Codec’s to lecture to Kenya on peaceful elections and democratic outcome; this is a puzzle because the Kenyan society has already felt the filth of Democracy which has brought nothing to them other than empty promises and chaos. And how can he preach peace while Africa has been destabilized by his Administration? Democratic elections, military and cultural invasions all have turned Africa into a chaotic continent. Under the guise of promoting Democracy, reforms and human rights the Western powers are siphoning Africa’s coveted mineral wealth.

The assertion that the US has no preferred candidate; this is other than struggle for supremacy or what is known the Anglo-American struggle. As the country heads to Election already there is a struggle between the ruling Jubilee Government led by Uhuru Kenyatta whom is loyal to the British and on the other side, the chief opposition leader former Prime Minister Raila Odinga the pro-American candidate over power. Though Raila has not yet publicly declared his Presidential bid in the upcoming elections, but early indications suggest he may be in the ballot under the National Super Alliance (NASA). It seems America is not assured of victory of Raila in the upcoming election and therefore is willing to work with British men. In his visit to Kenya late August 2016, former US Secretary of State John Kerry urged the opposition leaders to rally behind a report by the Joint Parliamentary Select Committee on electoral reforms. The committee was set up with strong support from the clergy, US ambassador Robert Godec, UK High Commissioner Nic Hailey and Germany’s Jutta Frasch. He further urged the leaders to support the proposed electoral reforms in the report by the joint select committee.

The US and European embassies in Africa including Kenya are serving as bases for implementing the western biased policies. The irony is while African regimes like Kenya are seen barking at the West yet they have fully bounded themselves into the corrupt Western capitalism. Vicious western deals have got a nod from the same leaders who claim they are independent and sovereign. Currently, in Kenya the U.S. Government works closely with the Kenyan Government to provide a wide range of security assistance to the Kenyan military and law enforcement units. Furthermore, the United States stands with Kenya in the fight against ‘terrorism’ and has provided over $150 million in equipment and assistance to the Kenyan military in the past year alone. The US is not new in meddling political, economical and social affairs of other nations across the globe. The world should therefore should work for Khilafah "Caliphate" an Islamic state which will be independent in both of its internal and foreign policies.
