Finland Seeks to Join NATO; Kissinger on US Benefit from Ukraine

America scored another success from the Ukraine conflict this week as Finland decided to apply for membership to the NATO military alliance. The Wall Street Journal highlighted Russia’s loss as follows:

When Russian President Vladimir Putin invaded Ukraine, he sought to divide and weaken NATO. Nowhere has that strategy backfired more than in Finland.

If the Nordic country joins the North Atlantic Treaty Organization alongside Sweden in coming weeks, as expected, Mr. Putin will get a highly militarized NATO member next door. Russia’s border with NATO will more than double at the stroke of a pen, with an additional 830 miles.

Finland’s president and prime minister on Thursday said they hoped Finland would apply for NATO membership without delay, consolidating a political majority for Finnish membership.

That would be a historic pivot. For seven decades, Finland has maintained a unique security model based on a heavily armed military and a society prepared to mobilize in an invasion—combined with diplomacy to placate Russia by staying out of NATO.

The present Russian leadership, drawn from the security forces, including Russian President Vladimir Putin himself, has a brute force mindset to solving problems and is extremely deficient in political awareness. This made it easy for America to provoke Russia into foolishly and rashly overextending itself in Ukraine, doing so without proper planning and preparation. The West knew that Russia was simply grandstanding in order to boast its power. By this design, America has been able to firmly reimpose its complete leadership over Western countries, as the application of Finland makes even more clear. Britain is in complete accord with this plan; UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson visited Finland a day before the NATO announcement to conclude a joint security pact. This is necessary to deter any Russian reaction after the application to NATO is made and before Finland is able to formally sign on to the treaty.

Still, US President Joe Biden has other goals and objectives also that it will fulfil through Ukraine. It was the US that had employed Russia in Syria but Putin began to have illusions of grandeur over his role there and tried to take more than America was giving him. The immense international pressure on Russia at this time will make it difficult for Russia to continue to do that. However, the greatest objective perhaps is to distance Russia from China. This week the aged former Secretary of State, Henry Kissinger, gave an interview to the Financial Times in which he discussed opportunities for exploiting the differences between Russia from China in the aftermath of Ukraine, saying “I think history will provide opportunities in which we can apply the differential approach”:

I think the geopolitical situation globally will undergo significant changes after the Ukraine war is over. And it is not natural for China and Russia to have identical interests on all foreseeable problems.

I don't think we can generate possible disagreement. But I think circumstances after the Ukraine war, Russia will have to reassess its relationship to Europe at a minimum, and its general attitude towards Nato. And so will America, and especially Europe have to do, when the lessons of this period sink it.

And so I think it is unwise to take an adversarial position to two adversaries in a way that drives them together. And once we take aboard this principle in our relationships with Europe and in our internal discussions, I think history will provide opportunities in which we can apply the differential approach.

It doesn't mean that either of them will become intimate friends of the West. It only means that on specific issues, as they arise, we leave open the option, that may be a different approach. We are prepared to explore differences in approach in terms of our own relationship, without discussing in the abstract what their relationship with each other would be, because that will be determined by their own interests and by their own domestic situation. But in view of general strategy, in the period ahead of us, we should not lump Russia and China together as an integral element.

America, the leader of secular liberal Capitalist states, does not hesitate to embroil the population of Ukraine in death and destruction, provoking the invasion of the Russian military while at the same time further fuelling the war through supplying weapons and far more to Ukraine. According to The New York Times, this week:

But even after two and a half months, Mr Biden is still anxious about appearing that the United States is fighting a proxy war that President Vladimir V. Putin of Russia says it is. While Mr. Biden publicly sends aid and signed the lend-lease bill on camera, off camera he was livid over leaks about the American intelligence assistance to Ukraine that led to the deaths of Russian generals and the sinking of the cruiser Moskva out of concern that it would provoke Mr. Putin into escalation that Mr. Biden has strenuously sought to avoid. After reports in The New York Times and NBC News about the intelligence, Mr. Biden called Defence Secretary Lloyd J. Austin III,; Avril D. Haines, the director of national intelligence; and William J. Burns, the C.I.A. director, to chastise them, according to a senior administration official. That seemed to be where Mr. Biden was drawing a line – providing Ukraine with guns to shoot Russian soldiers was OK, but providing Ukraine with specific information to help them shoot Russians was best left secret and undisclosed to the public.

There is no one at present to stop the warmongering of the West. But with Allah’s permission, the Muslim Ummah shall soon arise and overthrow the agent ruling class that governs her fractured lands and re-establish the Islamic Khilafah (Caliphate) State on the method of the Prophet (saw) that shall liberate occupied territories, unify Muslim lands, implement the Islamic shariah, restore the Islamic way of life and carry the light of Islam to the entire world. The Khilafah State shall, almost from its inception, join the ranks of the great powers on account of its great size, immense population, vast resources, unparalleled geopolitics, and unique Islamic ideology. The Khilafah State shall work to confront, contain and calm the other great powers, returning the world to the general peace and prosperity that existed for a thousand years when the Khilafah State was previously the world’s leading power.

America Backs Illegal Jewish entity over Killing Al Jazeera Journalist

This week, armed forces of the illegal Jewish entity fired directly at an Al Jazeera team, injuring one of them and killing a respected senior journalist, Shireen Abu Akleh. The illegal entity initially tried to blame the killing on firing by the occupied people within Palestine even though only the forces of the illegal entity were present in the area and the rest of the media team were able to clearly see who it was that was firing on them. The illegal entity then decided it will open an investigation into the killing, which is a clear rejection of the direct and clear testimony of the witnesses present on the ground at the time.

The killing of a fellow journalist is a matter that the Western media is not able to ignore. America on its part has fully backed the illegal entity and also called for an investigation, as has the European Union. A US State Department spokesman said, “We are heartbroken by and strongly condemn the killing of American journalist Shireen Abu Akleh in the West Bank. The investigation must be immediate and thorough and those responsible must be held accountable. Her death is an affront to media freedom everywhere.” Other than the fact that such investigations in the past have meant nothing, an investigation into this one incident implies that the rest of the actions of the illegal entity are not subject to investigation, and that the very existence of the illegal entity is not a subject for discussion. In other words calling for an investigation is reinforcing official recognition of the existence of the illegal entity.

Killing journalists makes perfect sense for the illegal Jewish entity. The soldiers involved will probably be privately honoured and rewarded for their actions. The illegal entity cannot survive unless they employ violent brutality to force their injustice over the noble Muslims living in Palestine. The illegal entity is a small weak power. It can only prolong its filthy occupation by building a culture of criminal impunity within its government, armed forces, and society in general. This culture was evident once more at the burial of Shireen Abu Akleh, in which the illegal entity’s forces stormed the participants in the funeral without reason of provocation, nearly causing the coffin to fall to the ground.

America and the West are fully aware of the weakness of the illegal entity so strongly encourage the entity’s brutality. The illegal entity is a vital extension of the strategic position of the West in the Middle East and beyond that must be protected by them at all costs. They know that this weak illegal Jewish entity cannot survive except by forcing itself upon its people, despite there being voices against this from within the West itself. Within US President Joe Biden’s own Democratic Party, Congresswoman Ilhan Omar criticised America’s unconditional support for the illegal Jewish entity.

According to Business Insider:

“She was killed by the Israeli military, after making her presence as a journalist clearly known,” the progressive lawmaker tweeted. “We provide Israel with $3.8 billion in military aid annually with no restrictions. What will it take for accountability for these human rights violations?”

The only solution for the illegal Jewish entity, as for all of the occupied territories of Muslims is to liberate them completely. It is a crime against Islam and the Muslim Ummah to recognise or compromise with them in any way. With Allah’s permission, the re-established Islamic Khilafah will make the liberation of Muslim territories and the unification of all Muslim lands its top priority. With the Muslim Ummah fully supporting this, the rest of the world will not be able to prevent it, nor will they be able to dispute the right of the Muslim Ummah to comprehensively retake control of their own affairs after two centuries of Western colonialism. Allah (swt) says in the Noble Qur’an:

(وَلَن يَجْعَلَ اللَّهُ لِلْكَافِرِينَ عَلَى الْمُؤْمِنِينَ سَبِيلًا) “And Allah will never grant the disbelievers a way over the believers.” [An-Nisa:141].
