India Must be Dealt with as a Hostile State. Its Hatred towards Islam and Muslims Never Recedes
On 1 January 2018, fighting at the Lethpora-based camp, in southern Occupied Kashmir, left five Indian soldiers and three Muslim resistance fighters martyred, according to officials, as Indian oppression continued. In contrast, according to the Indian Express, a secret meeting between retired Lt Gen Nasser Khan Janjua and Ajit Doval took place at a ‘neutral venue’ in the Thai capital. It was, as the Indian Express reported, a “pre-scheduled meeting.” It was confirmed to Dawn, by a senior National Security Division official, that it took place on Wednesday 27 December. According to the Pakistani official, “The meeting was good. Mr Doval’s tone and tenor was friendly and positive”.
Since the creation of Pakistan, Indian hostility has never receded. India has openly attacked Pakistan on a number of occasions. It provided pivotal help in separating East Pakistan, now known as Bangladesh. India has denied the Muslims of occupied Kashmir the right of self-determination, despite her promise to do so. It has killed tens thousands of Muslims and raped women, to subdue the desire to annex Occupied Kashmir with Pakistan. India occupied the heights of the Siachen glacier in 1984. India has been killing civilians living across the Line of Control on the Azad Kashmir side. In 2017 alone, India committed over 1,300 ceasefire violations along the Line of Control, killing 52. And India with the help of America sending terrorist in Pakistan by using Afghan soil under the setup of Kulbhushan Jadhav network. So her animosity against Islam, Muslims and Pakistan has no limits.
India must be dealt with an iron fist. However, the National Security Advisor’s meetings will only bolster India in its belligerency. Such meetings send a signal that no matter how much she increases her hostility towards Pakistan, the political and military leadership of Pakistan will never respond in a befitting manner. Instead, they will beg for “peace” and “normalization,” pursuing the “restraint” policy that has been set by Washington. Islam has clearly mentioned how to deal with an enemy like India. Allah (swt) said,
[فَمَنِ ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ فَٱعْتَدُواْ عَلَيْهِ بِمِثْلِ مَا ٱعْتَدَىٰ عَلَيْكُمْ]
“So whoever has assaulted you, then assault him in the same way that he has assaulted you.” [Surah al-Baqarah 2:194] The Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of Prophethood will follow the command of Allah (swt) in letter and spirit. Moreover, it will provide relief for the Muslims and all oppressed people of the Sub-Continent from Hindu State oppression.
The Muslims of Pakistan have suffered and will continue to suffer as long as advocates of Democracy look after their affairs. Democracy rejects the command of Islam on the basis of the mere vote of the majority of parliamentarians. The only way forwards for the Muslims of Pakistan is the re-establishment of the Khilafah on the Method of the Prophethood.
History Teaches us to Tear up Alliance with the US, But Islam Commands It
On 3 January 2018, the Foreign Minister, Khawaja Asif, responded to Trump’s threats against Pakistan. We filled Guantanamo Bay to its capacity. We got ourselves busied with your service so much that we let our own country suffer from load shedding and gas shortage. We saw our economy go to the wall. But, we had just one desire that you (US) are pleased with us. We offered you hundreds of thousands of visas to the effect that contract killers of Blackwater including the likes of Raymond Davis spread to every nook and cranny of Pakistan.”
The current leadership is not a spectator in the oppression of the US, it is an active collaborator. The truth is that the current leadership has given everything possible to the Americans and is ready to give more, were it was not for the people’s anger that they fear. It was under the current leadership that the National Action Plan to crush anti-American sentiment was implemented. It was under the current leadership that Radd ul Fassad was launched to squeeze the ground from which the tribal resistance was striking the US crusader occupation. For years, the current rulers, including Khawaja Asif, have tried hard to convince us that the US crusade is Pakistan’s own war. Khawaja Asif’s response to Trump was that he will let the world know the true difference between facts and fiction. As usual his response is fiery speech and nothing else, telling the people what they already know, to calm their anger. Nothing but lies and deceit is indeed what the Pakistan leadership have told the Muslims in Pakistan.
Pakistan is not a toy in the hands of the US. It is a nuclear power with a fighting force of 600,000 army personnel, who are ready to move and sacrifice. Under an Islamic leadership Pakistan’s considerable resources are more than enough to make us a major world power, independent of slavery to colonialist powers, like the US, Russia and China. If the civilian-military leadership were serious in their claim to respond to Trump, they would have closed the US embassy and eradicated the Raymond Davis networks working in the country. They would cut all ties with US and cut the supply line to the forces in Afghanistan. However, the current leadership never will because it sees history as a guide, rather than the Quran and Sunnah. Allah (swt) said,
“O you who believe do not take My enemy and your enemy as allies, meeting them with softness. Indeed, they disbelieve in that which has come to you of truth.” [Surah Mumtahina 60:1]
Re-Establish Khilafah (Caliphate) on the Method of the Prophethood to Secure Medical Care
Following growing complaints about lack of facilities at public hospitals in Lahore, Chief Justice of Pakistan (CJP) Mian Saqib Nisar on 4 January 2018 took a suo motu notice of the hospitals' conditions. "There has been much hue and cry from the public complaining [about] the non-availability of even life-saving drugs and non-functional emergency equipment," the judicial document read.
The state of Pakistan's health care is appalling with widespread, preventable life-threatening disease, inadequate patient health education, poor unaudited treatment protocols that are not based on medical evidence, lack of an integrated health system with primary, secondary and tertiary facilities, poor local clinical training and the absence of strong, original medical research strongly linked to local disease and health requirements. Currently, the private sector accounts for approximately 80% of all outpatient visits. Domination by the private sector has converted health care from a service into a business and health care into a luxury, not a right. Increasing costs of private doctors’ fees, medicines and diagnostic tests have made affordable treatment difficult for most people in Pakistan.
This pitiful situation in the world is a far cry from the time of the Khilafah, where the state supported a strong predominately public health sector, in accordance with the commands of RasulAllah (saaw), for example during the Ghazwah Khandaq he came across wounded soldiers and he ordered a tent be assembled to provide medical care. Public hospitals, or “Bimiristan” (Abode of the Sick) were a great relief for the people. They served all people regardless of their race, religion, citizenship, or gender. The al-Mansuri Hospital, established in Cairo in 1283, had accommodation for 8,000 patients. There were two nursing attendants for each patient, who did everything for his/her comfort and convenience and every patient had his/her own bed, bedding and vessel for eating. This hospital treated in-patients and out-patients giving them free food and medicine. There were mobile dispensaries and clinics for the proper medical care of the disabled and those living in the remote areas. Medical faculties had a strong representation within university as well as allied facilities for clinical research in hospital and out-patient settings. Muslims doctors preceded the world in medical research by decades if not hundreds of years in fields as diverse as ophthalmological surgery to cardiac care. With world leading health care centres, medical personnel and medicines, rulers of foreign nations used to migrate to the Khilafah for treatment as the favoured destination, setting a strong precedent for the concept of medical tourism.
In its Introduction to the Constitution, Hizb ut Tahrir has adopted in Article 125, “Health and medical care are from the obligations of the State such that they must be readily available for the citizens, from the angle of clinics and hospitals, and public utilities used for treatment by the Muslims. So, medical treatment from this angle is part of the interests and public utilities. The interests and public utilities must be undertaken by the State since they are from the issues that the State is responsible over, in accordance with the words of the Messenger (saaw), «الإِمَامُ رَاعٍ وَهُوَ وَمَسْؤُولٌ عَنْ رَعِيَّتِهِ»“The Imam (ruler) is a guardian, and responsible (and will be questioned) for his subjects.” (reported by Al-Bukhari from Abdullah Bin Umar). This text is general regarding the responsibility of the State for health and medical care since they are part of the obligatory responsibilities of the State... In his capacity as a ruler, the Messenger (saw) sent a doctor to Ubay, and Umar (ra), the second righteous Khalifah, called a doctor for Aslam to treat him, which are two evidences that health and medical care are from the essential needs of the citizens that the State must make sure are readily available for whoever needs them.”
