Trump’s Unilateralism leads him to Withdrawal from Paris Climate Accord

US President Donald Trump has announced America’s withdrawal from the Paris climate accord, signed by 195 countries. The only other countries not part of the agreement are Nicaragua and Syria. According to the New York Times:

“President Trump announced on Thursday that the United States would withdraw from the Paris climate accord, weakening efforts to combat global warming and embracing isolationist voices in his White House who argued that the agreement was a pernicious threat to the economy and American sovereignty.

In a speech from the Rose Garden, Mr. Trump said the landmark 2015 pact imposed wildly unfair environmental standards on American businesses and workers. He vowed to stand with the people of the United States against what he called a “draconian” international deal.

“I was elected to represent the citizens of Pittsburgh, not Paris,” the president said, drawing support from members of his Republican Party but widespread condemnation from political leaders, business executives and environmentalists around the globe.”

Trump’s announcement will have no immediate direct effect. Under the terms of the agreement, the United Sates cannot exit until 4 November 2020, which is the day after the next presidential election. The most immediate effect of the announcement, therefore, is that it solidifies Trump’s commitment to American unilateralism, and rejection of the multilateralist approach adopted by his predecessor Barack Obama.

In fact, America is the world’s leading power at all times, whether it practices unilateralism or multilateralism. The world order is defined by the superpower, and global affairs reflect the viewpoint in life of the leading power. The tragedies faced by humanity at this time are all directly or indirectly attributable to the United States of America and the Western block that it leads. The world’s problems cannot be solved until global leadership is replaced by a power that is truly sincere to caring for the affairs of mankind.

US Hesitates again to Move Embassy to Jerusalem

Despite a campaign pledge to honour a 1995 American law, Donald Trump has deferred a decision to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem for another six months. US Presidents have been continually deferring the decision, every six months, since the US law was passed more than 20 years ago. According to Reuters:

“President Donald Trump signed a temporary order on Thursday to keep the U.S. embassy in Israel in Tel Aviv instead of relocating it to Jerusalem, despite his campaign pledge to go ahead with the controversial move.

After months of fierce debate within his administration, Trump chose to continue his predecessors' policy of signing a six-month waiver overriding a 1995 law requiring that the embassy be transferred to Jerusalem, an action that would have complicated his efforts to restart Israeli-Palestinian peace talks.

The White House insisted, however, that the decision, which is sure to disappoint Israel's U.S. supporters, did not mean Trump was abandoning the goal of eventually shifting the embassy to Jerusalem. But a U.S. official said no timetable has been set.”

There is no obstacle to America implementing this change other than its fear of the wrath of Muslims, which may lead to the destruction of the Jewish State and much more besides. America sees are sons and now even our daughters giving their lives to oppose the tyrannical occupation. Reuters reported yesterday:

“A teenage Palestinian girl who was shot by Israeli troops after she stabbed a soldier in the occupied West Bank died of her wounds in hospital on Friday, Israel's military and a medical center spokeswoman said.

The girl, who Palestinian authorities said was aged 16 and from the West Bank village of Yaabed near Jenin, was shot at the entrance to the Israeli settlement of Mevo Dotan on Thursday after striking and lightly wounding a soldier with a knife, an Israeli army statement said.
A spokeswoman for the Hillel Yaffe Medical Center in central Israel said she had been treated at the hospital overnight but died of her wounds early on Friday.”
Indeed the Muslim Ummah is a power in the world, but the rulers of Muslims are unaware of this. They slavishly carry out the commands and desires of their Western masters, thinking they have no choice in this. But these Western masters themselves fear Muslims the most.

China is an oppressor of Muslims, not a savior

With the overwhelming sense of weakness that pervades Muslims today, it is easy for many to see China’s growing power as an opportunity for Muslims to escape Western imperialism. But Muslims need to stop and remember China’s brutal treatment of Muslims that live within its borders, which extends even to the names that parents give their own children. According to The Guardian:

“Muslim children in China’s far western Xinjiang region are being forced to change their “religious” names and adults are being coerced into attending rallies showing devotion to the officially atheist Communist party.
During Ramadan, the authorities in Xinjiang have ordered all children under 16 to change names where police have determined they are “overly religious”. As many as 15 names have been banned, including Islam, Quran, Mecca, Jihad, Imam, Saddam, Hajj, Medina and Arafat, according to Radio Free Asia.”

The same article also mentions:

“In recent months authorities began confiscating Qur’ans published before August 2012, declaring them illegal for containing “extremist content”, according to a report by US-funded Radio Free Asia.

On the same day as the mass rallies, officials in Xinjiang announced they had expelled a Communist party member for attending religious activities at a local mosque. It was not clear if the man was a government official or simply a private citizen who was also a party member.

Rules announced last year also forbid retired officials from attending religious ceremonies and ban them from holding and beliefs.”

The savior of Muslims is neither the West, nor China, nor any other earthly power. Our savior is our Iman and tawakal upon Allah (swt), and the obedience to His Deen, though the re-establishment of the righteous Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" State, the Caliphate, working on the method of the Prophet (saw).
