Testimony of Trump’s Cabinet Nominees betrays their Mainstream Establishment Positions

Further evidence that Donald Trump is firmly in the grip of the American establishment comes from Trump’s cabinet selections. In testimony before members of Congress, nominee after nominee is deviating from Trump’s wilder campaign statements and choosing to adopt mainstream positions. According to the Washington Post:

“Donald Trump’s Cabinet nominees, in their first round of confirmation hearings on Capitol Hill, have one after another contradicted the president-elect on key issues, promising to trim back or disregard some of the signature promises on which he campaigned.”

In fact, the positions adopted by these nominees is fully in accordance with what Trump himself wishes. Trump is a ‘populist’ politician who holds very few ideologically consistent opinions and instead campaigns with whatever he thinks people will accept; indeed this is how he won the election. But Trump is in fact just as beholden to the American political establishment as other leading politicians and, indeed, indicated his approval of the positions taken by his nominees. The same article explains:

Trump indicated in a tweet Friday morning that he is unconcerned about the contradictions. “All of my Cabinet nominee are looking good and doing a great job,” Trump wrote. “I want them to be themselves and express their own thoughts, not mine!”

Moreover the more populist members of his campaign team, such as very right-wing Steve Bannon, have been kept far away from any cabinet positions.

In truth the American establishment is fully in control of the American political system. ‘Democracy’ is just a façade for elite control.

Assad directly linked to Syrian Chemical Attacks

Now that Assad’s forces have pushed into Eastern Aleppo, an inquiry co-sponsored by the United Nations reveals for the first time that Assad has been directly involved in chemical attacks on the Syrian people. Reuters reports:

“International investigators have said for the first time that they suspect President Bashar al-Assad and his brother are responsible for the use of chemical weapons in the Syrian conflict, according to a document seen by Reuters...

Now a list has been produced of individuals whom the investigators have linked to a series of chlorine bomb attacks in 2014-15 - including Assad, his younger brother Maher and other high-ranking figures - indicating the decision to use toxic weapons came from the very top, according to a source familiar with the inquiry.”

The question is why this was not made known earlier, when the world had decided to side with Assad against the Syrian people, in the name of defeating terrorism.

Western institutions such as the UN only serve Western interests; these institutions can never be sincere to solving the problems of the Muslim Ummah.

Saudi Cut Oil Output to Lowest in almost Two Years

The regime of King Salman is finally taking steps to rebuild oil prices after the disastrous flood of oil unleashed in the last days of his predecessor, creating havoc in world oil markets. According to Reuters:

“Saudi Arabia has cut oil output to its lowest in almost two years, its energy minister said on Thursday, as the world's largest oil exporter leads OPEC's drive to eradicate a global glut and prop up prices...

Such levels were last seen in February 2015, when Riyadh began to steeply raise production to deal a blow to U.S. shale oil producers, effectively becoming the architect of a prolonged oil price crash.”

Causing oil prices to drop is much easier than making them rise, as any decrease in production by one exporter may be replaced by increased production by any other. Further complicating matters at this time has been the reintroduction of Iranian oil supplies into international markets.

As long as Muslim rulers are under the control of Western governments, the vital assets of the Ummah will remain at the mercy of Western interests. It is the West that reduces and increases the price of oil according to their own strategic interests, irrespective of the benefit or harm from this to Muslims.

America Only Notes Disappearance of Liberal Activists

Having sponsored the disappearance of thousands of ‘missing persons’ in Pakistan in recent years, America is decrying the disappearance of five liberal activists in the past few days. According to Dawn Newspaper:
“The US State Department, in its first public reaction to the disappearance of bloggers and rights activists in Pakistan, has said that it’s closely monitoring the situation and would continue to do so.

“We’re very concerned by reports that several Pakistani bloggers and activists have been reported missing and we’re going to continue to monitor the situation,” the department’s deputy spokesman Mark Toner said during a news briefing.

“We, of course, welcome that the interior ministry ... announced that it’s going to investigate the disappearance of one of those individuals, Salman Haider, and we also appreciate the fact that members of both houses of parliament have voiced their concern and called for an investigation into all four disappearances,” he said.”

The Pakistan state has disappeared thousands of sincere believers in recent years, whose only crime has been their practise of Islam. Intelligence agencies, operating outside of Pakistan law, operate numerous secret centres where so-called ‘missing persons’ are actually being held. According to a report in Dawn last week:

“Another 728 Pakistanis were added to the list of missing persons in 2016 - the highest in at least six years - taking the total to 1,219, according to the Inquiry Commission on Enforced Disappearances.”

It is believed that the recently lapsed military courts were actually instituted to process such cases. Also in Dawn:

“The military courts, which were empowered to try civilian suspects of terrorism, convicted a number of ‘missing persons’ as well.”

At American behest, Muslim regimes at this time are fully occupied with fighting the rise of Islam using all means at their disposal, legal and illegal. The multiplication of their criminal efforts only proves that Islam’s rise is real and, with Allah’s permission, Muslims are soon to re-establish the righteous Islamic Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of Prophethood.
