In Eurasia, America Seeks to Strengthen India and Weaken Pakistan
بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم
After the collapse of Soviet Union and the end of Afghan war, the geopolitical scenario in Eurasia, especially in South and Central Asia changed. The new Islamic states in Central Asia provided new lucrative economic incentives. Pakistan had become a nuclear power. Its armed forces and intelligence agencies, particularly Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) had become too powerful and influential in the region. ISI's influence was spread in Indian Punjab, Kashmir and all the way to SAARC countries; whilst Afghanistan was its backyard. China was the next emerging threat in Eurasia which needed containment. China has decades old ties with Pakistan and there is favorable public opinion, both in the masses and military. Thus it was difficult for the US to overtly use Pakistan against China.
As part of a new Great Game, America has needed to forge ‘strategic partnership' with India and use Pakistan and India as a block against China. For this to happen it was necessary to put India at ease vis-a-vis her western borders with Pakistan and its engagement in Kashmir. America knew that India could never pose a threat to China if her forces are divided on two fronts. Hence, it has become imperative for the US to weaken Pakistani armed forces by dividing it on two fronts, as well as forcing Pakistan to normalize relationship with India, so that India could focus unilaterally towards China, a country that India has fought in war and has disputes with.
The traitor rulers in the military leadership weakened Pakistan's armed forces by pushing it into war with its foreign policy assets i.e. the Jihadis and Tribals. Also to contain Pakistan's regional power which she exercised through its strong and professional intelligence agencies, it was necessary to clamp down on the ISI and make it inward looking by forcing it to concentrate on Jihadies and sincere politicians. Using 9-11 as a cover, US entered the region and was able to reverse the Kashmir and Afghan policy as well as weaken Pakistan through engineering ‘controlled chaos' using Blackwater, CIA and her agents in the political and military leadership. This is in addition to the traitor rulers leaving the people in neglect as they face a variety of crises that could be averted by a sincere leadership and the Islamic system, such as the electricity crisis, sugar crisis, floods and many others.
The other reason to weaken Pakistan is that Pakistan had become too strong during the time of the Soviet occupation of Afghanistan. The call for Jihad and implementation of Islam was the talk of the town which US calls "radicalization" of the Pakistani society. In such a scenario, it became necessary for the US to block the possibility of emergence of the Islamic State i.e. Khilafah "Caliphate", which would disturb the balance in Eurasia and pose an ideological challenge to US interests in the whole world. For this very purpose, a strong Muslim state with a "radicalized" population was very dangerous of US interest. This not only required secularizing the Pakistani society, but also weakening the state of Pakistan considerably, so that a strong Khilafah "Caliphate" could not emerge from it.
US policy advisor George Friedman alludes to this matter in his book "The Next 100 Years." He writes, "the goal of these interventions [Iraq and Afghanistan] was never to achieve something-whatever the political rhetoric might have said-but to prevent something. The United States wanted to prevent stability in areas where another power might emerge. Its goal was not to stabilize, but to destabilize. And that explains how the United States responded to the Islamic earthquake-it wanted to prevent a large, powerful Islamic state from emerging". [page 46] He further writes: "the first line of defense against Islamic radicals will be the Muslim states themselves"... "they [the Muslim rulers] will use their national power-their intelligence, security, and military capabilities" to crush these radicals... "An Islamic world in chaos, incapable of uniting, means the United States has achieved its strategic goal"... "So long as the Muslims are fighting each other, the United States has won its war". [page 49]. And this is exactly what the US agents of the likes of Kayani, Pasha and Zardari are doing i.e. crushing anybody calling for Islam and making Muslims fight Muslims.
Before there is further weakening of Pakistan and extension of the American plan, the Muslims must establish the Khilafah "Caliphate". It is the Khilafah "Caliphate" alone that will rally the Muslims on the basis of Islam. It will sever the hands of the American influence in the country. It will close enemy embassies and bases and expel the military and intelligence. It will work for the unification of the Muslim World. It will reach out to non-belligerent Muslim countries in order to gain them to Islam. By doing so, the Khilafah "Caliphate" will ensure the supremacy of Islam and the failure of Kufr. And the practical step is for the sincere officers in Pakistan's armed forces to respond to the demand of the Ummah and grant the Nussrah to its party, Hizb ut-Tahrir, for the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate".
