Bandits in Yemen Did Not Care about its Sanctity for Years
And They Still Feed Off People's Suffering... Evil Is That Which They Do
(Translated)
Early this week in Taiz Governorate, the Al-Khazjah Al-Mafalis Tor Al-Baha Road, which connects Taiz Governorate to the southern governorates, was opened, which has been closed following the war in Yemen since 2014. Piles of debris were removed and the road was cleared. The road will work to end a very small part of people’s suffering as a result of traffic in rugged and dangerous Al-Sailah Road due to floods, with a length of 22 kilometers. This road shortens the time from an hour and a half to 10 minutes. People have begun to move via this road after they were deprived of it for years due to the warring agent rulers, and because this road is an alternative to the main road that connects Taiz to the southern governorates, which is still cut off till this day.
While there are still a number of main roads closed to the movement of people in Taiz Governorate towards Sana’a via Al-Hawban, Damt Qa’taba in Al-Dhale’ Governorate, Ma’rib Sana’a via Fardhat Nihm, Al-Jarahi in Hodeidah and Fahman “Thara” in Abyan. The suffering of the people did not stop only by blocking the roads, but they were also forced to take other alternative, rugged and long roads, in which they lost their lives and their money due to its ruggedness. What increases their suffering is the security points installed by the warring parties that humiliate people, plunder their money, and disturb their peace. For how long will people in Yemen be crushed by a gang of despicable agents?!
Proposals to open blocked roads in Yemen were launched early on, and were not responded to positively, because both sides of the war do not fear Allah. Their fear of losing military positions between them, made them reluctant to alleviate the suffering of the people for whom they say they are fighting! The roads were the subject of a political debate between the two sides of the war in Yemen, in which both sides were not concerned about the needs of the people, nor did they care at all about their suffering; the hardship and suffering of the long, rugged, dangerous alternative roads that they took to reach their destinations. The first obstacle to opening the roads in Yemen are the war merchants, who have become rich during the war that has been going on in Yemen since 2014. They have gained astronomical profits from it, and are still hoarding more, not caring about the lives of people claimed by the war, so how can they care about the roads that Allah has decreed the harshest types of punishment for those who cut them off?
Roads are public property, which all people share and pass through them, or stop in them temporarily and does not prevent others from using them. The person who walks there should not be terrified for his life or his wealth. There are Hadiths narrated from the Messenger of Allah (saw) in which he (saw) specified the width of the road at that time. It is reported that the Prophet (saw) forbade people from loitering in the streets in urban areas unless they were given their right, such as returning the greeting, lowering the gaze, and refraining from harm, let alone blocking the roads completely, and causing additional costs to the people by prolonging the road, time, and financial costs?! The evil that the rulers have committed in Yemen and the rest of the Muslim countries has reached its end, and the suffering of the people of Yemen as a result of the blocking of roads is a small part of their daily suffering as a result of the absence of services. The rulers were not satisfied with this, but rather they wasted services and plundered the country. The people were not spared from their evil and immorality, but rather they transgressed on their rights and money unjustly.
The Creator (swt) has decreed a severe punishment on bandits, as He (swt) said:
“Indeed, the penaltyfor those who wage war against Allāh and His Messenger and strive upon earth [to cause] corruption is none but that they be killed or crucified or that their hands and feet be cut off from opposite sides or that they be exiled from the land. That is for them a disgrace in this world; and for them in the Hereafter is a great punishment” [Al-Ma’idah: 33].
Are people like this expected to take care of people’s affairs?! Of course not. So, people of Yemen, stand up with those who are working to take care of your affairs with Islam by establishing the Second Khilafah Rashidah (Rightly Guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood. Hizb ut Tahrir is working among you and with you to remove the oppressors and establish the rule of Islam. The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:
«ثُمَّ تَكُونُ خِلَافَةً عَلَى مِنْهَاجِ النُّبُوَّةِ»
“Then there will be Khilafah on the method of Prophethood.”
