Ramadan 2025 Activities

We, in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Turkiye, based on our understanding that the month of Ramadan is the month of the Qur’an, the month of presenting ourselves to the Qur’an, and of following the path of revelation, have organized all of our activities during the month of Ramadan this year, 1446 AH – 2025 CE, under the title “Ramadan... The Season of Righteousness.”

With the beginning of Ramadan, we organized a major conference in Istanbul on Sunday, March 2, titled "Building the Future with the Khilafah from Istanbul to the Quds!" 101 years after the abolition of the Khilafah (Caliphate), talk of it has returned in Istanbul, and longing for it has returned. We emphasized that Palestine and its Gaza Strip will not be liberated from occupation and genocide except through the Khilafah.

During the month of Ramadan, we organized iftar banquets in 15 provinces across Turkiye, targeting representatives of NGOs, political parties, the media, scholars and leaders, journalists, writers, and academics. The iftar programs included roundtable meetings with the invitees, which were held in Ankara, Istanbul, Adiyaman, Van, Aksaray, Kırklae, Diyarbakır, Bitlis, Batman, Izmir, Aydın, Bursa, Kocaeli, Konya, and Düzce. In these meetings, which were held in the form of welcoming conversations, we discussed the ongoing genocide in Gaza for the past 17 months, the situation in Palestine, Syria, and Yemen, and the problems in Turkey, focusing on solutions. We also organized iftar banquets, da'wah councils, discussion groups, seminars, and talks in all provinces across Turkey, in the spiritual atmosphere of Ramadan. In the context of the treachery of the usurping Jewish entity, its violation of the ceasefire, its continued aggression during the month of Ramadan, and its violent bombardment of our people in Gaza, we issued press releases and prayers in 12 locations across Turkey under the slogan "There is a massacre in Gaza! When Will You Take Action for Gaza?!" Finally, on Lailatul al-Qadr, which is better than a thousand months and on which the Holy Quran was revealed, we performed the Qunut prayer in city squares and mosques.

May Allah reward all Muslims who joined us at the iftar banquets we organized, who attended our press releases and Qunut prayers regarding the occupation and injustice being perpetrated against Gaza and other countries, and who attended our da'wah, hadith, and dialogue sessions.

We see the Muslims filling the squares in every region of Turkey, from east to west and south to north, to end the occupation and injustice as a sign of goodness. This Ummah is full of goodness, and this Ummah will be a pioneer of goodness in establishing the Khilafah, Allah willing. We ask Allah Almighty to make this month the last Ramadan we fast without the Khilafah and we ask Him to hasten the liberation of the Quds, Gaza, and all of Palestine from the usurping Jews. Ameen.
