(وَقَالَ اللَّهُ لَا تَتَّخِذُوا إِلَٰهَيْنِ اثْنَيْنِ إِنَّمَا هُوَ إِلَٰهٌ وَاحِدٌ فَإِيَّايَ فَارْهَبُونِ)
“And Allah has said, "Do not take for yourselves two deities. He is but one God, so fear only Me".” [An-Nahl: 51]

During the minute of silence at the celebration of the "commemoration of Mustafa Kamal", which was organized on November 10 in the city of Aderna, Amina Shahin, a 21-year-old university student, spoke and said: "You are carrying out a respectful minute of silence, you do not know the laws of Allah. Ataturk is who brought the Western beliefs, “there is no God but Allah." As a result, she was first arrested, then was sentenced in court and sent to prison for "insulting Ataturk and his memory." Regarding this strange incident, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Turkey, want to share with the public the following matters:

1- At first, we pray to Allah (swt) to be pleased with all Muslims who have sincerely adopted the case of Amina Shahin after the news of her arrest became widespread, and they reacted to it.

2- As we have seen that this secular Kamalist system does not accept any insult to its God or criticism or comment, no matter how small, so how can Muslims be satisfied with a legislator other than Allah? How can the rulers rule by a system other than Allah’s Deen?

3- Since our sister was arrested only for saying:

"(Ataturk) is not a god", it can be said that in the eyes of the secular system and its entourage, Mustafa Kamal is considered a "god", and his tomb is a "temple", and the organized celebrations and minutes of silence are "worships", and the book of his remembrance and monologue are "Supplications", and the garlands placed there are "offerings", thus Kamalism is a "religion"!!

4-The AKP government is moving in a humiliating, cowardly and spontaneous manner in order to overcome the upcoming elections and to protect itself from this point it reached. Thus it does not hesitate to do acts that anger Allah and harm Muslims in order to preserve the feelings of the Kamalist secular community.

5- So do not weaken and do not grieve, our sister Amina Shahin, despite the horror that crept in your heart of the cold cells and you in such a young age ... but who is more proud, honoured and elevated, as long as Allah is with you?! And thank Allah for giving light to your face and darkened the faces of your oppressors. And say what our master Yusuf peace be upon him said:

(قَالَ رَبِّ السِّجْنُ أَحَبُّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا يَدْعُونَنِي إِلَيْهِ) “He said, "My Lord, prison is more to my liking than that to which they invite me".” [Yusuf: 33]

You Muslims! Surely there is only one creator of the earth and the heavens and the worlds, it is Allah Alone who has no partners! There is no ruling except for Allah. And whoever worships a god other than Allah, then that is open disbelief! So do not express your angry only against structures and idols! But show your anger against secularism and democracy, which sees that - Allah forbid – Allah has no right to rule the land, and Islam has no right to interfere in the affairs of the state, and man - Allah forbid - is better than Allah in the legislating of the laws! So stand in the face of efforts that show that these poisons as if they are from Islam!
