The Death of Dalilah As-Saahili
(Translated)

The Women’s Section of Hizb ut Tahrir in Tunisia offer our deep condolences to the family of Dalilah As-Saahili who passed away as a result of a raid of her house by security forces searching for her son who was later released after it became clear that there were no grounds to hold him. We also hold the authority which violates the sanctity of people’s houses based on a mere suspicion responsible for what happened. This is as the state has adopted the concept of ‘We suppress you so as to rule you’ and this is what one of its ministers indicated to when he stated that the people should be afraid!!

Therefore we hold the authority fully responsible as it is striving to create situations of instability what would make the people live in a state of panic, fright and terror.

In the face of the silence over this crime, particularly from many of those in the media, we hold those who govern the country fully responsible and strongly warn of the gravity of the violation of the sanctity of homes, the infringement of the security of the people and their torturing them, the failure to meet their basic needs, and the malicious prevention of those who are aware to disclose and account them.

So fear Allah in respect to this land... Fear Allah in respect to our mothers... Fear Allah in respect to our youth...

The Messenger of Allah (saw) said,

«مَنْ رَوَّعَ مُؤْمِنًا لَمْ يُؤَمِّنِ اللهُ رَوْعَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، وَمَنْ سَعَى بِمُؤْمِنٍ أَقَامَهُ اللهُ مَقَامَ خِزْْ وَذُُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ »  

“Whoever causes alarm to a believer Allah will not make him safe from His alarm on the Day of Judgment and whoever makes efforts against a believer then Allah will raise him in a position of disgrace and humiliation on the Day of Judgment.” (Extracted by al-Bayhaqii in the Iman of People (Sha’ab al-Iman) on the authority of Anas, and in the narration of Ibn Zakaria al-Baghdadi al-Mukhalas with the following addition,

«ومَن أخافَ مُؤمناً لم يُؤَمِّنِ اللهُ خوفَهُ يومَ القيامةِ »  

“And whoever frightens a believer Allah will not make him safe from His fright on the Day of Judgment”.
