A Regime who Lost its Direction, so it Began to Blunder...
Allowing an Exhibition of Islamic Books, then Arresting those in Charge of it!

(Translated)

On Monday morning, 28/11/2016, a group of security and intelligence apparatus in the locality of East Nile attacked the Islamic book exhibition, hosted by Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan in Kuku near the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine - Sudan University Gallery, and searched the exhibition like hoodlums. They took Brother Mohamed Zain, a member of Hizb ut Tahrir, to an unknown destination; he has yet to be released as of writing of this statement. Note that the exhibition was approved by the authorities.

Faced with this barbaric treatment, we in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Sudan express:

Firstly: This barbarism and contradiction in the state’s positions and its security agencies that allow for the establishment of the exhibition and then attacking it in broad daylight without being ashamed of Allah (swt), nor of His creation, who monitor it breaching its own laws and constitution, tossing these laws aside!

Secondly: Whoever thought that we will be complacent, or slacken carrying the call to resume the Islamic way of life with these harassments and arrests, is only delusional, his wish has failed and has veered off target, and by Allah, we will not betray Allah, His Messenger (saw), and the Muslims.

Thirdly: The authorities need to fear Allah in what they’re doing, has it not been enough for them the great sin of not arbitrating to the laws of Allah (swt)? Has it not been enough for them the great sin of repelling people away from the truth with these ugly practices? Has it not been enough great sin for them the restrictions on the carriers to the call of Allah (swt); through arbitrary and unjust arrests without any fault committed, and not guilty for anything?! Allah (swt) says:

[ وَالَّذِينَ يُؤْذُونَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَالْمُؤْمِنَاتِ بِغَيْرِ مَا اكْتَسَبُوا فَقَدِ احْتَمَلُوا بُهْتَانًا وَإِثْمًا مُبِينًا ]

“And as for those who malign believing men and believing women without their having done any wrong - they surely burden themselves with the guilt of calumny, and [thus] with a flagrant sin!” [TMQ 33:58]

Fourthly: The authorities must release Brother Mohamed Zain immediately, and stop harassing the Da’wah carriers, the members of Hizb ut Tahrir, who carry the Da’wah peacefully, through intellectual discourse and political struggle, to establish the righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" on the method of Prophethood, the promise of Allah Almighty, and the glad-tidings of His Messenger (saw). We warn the regime and its security agencies of the wrath of Allah (swt) and His punishment. He (swt) says:

[وَلا تَحْسَبَنَّ اللَّهَ غَافِلاً عَمَّا يَعْمَلُ الظَّالِمُونَ إِنَّمَا يُؤَخِّرُهُمْ لِيَوْمٍ تَشْخَصُ فِيهِ الأَبْصَارُ] 

“And do not think that Allah is unaware of what the evildoers are doing: He but grants them respite until the Day when their eyes will stare in horror” [TMQ 14:42]

Finally, we say that Hizb ut Tahrir is an ideological political party, which was established to resume the Islamic way of life, and its members gave up their lives, money, and souls, cheap for the sake of its purpose and the pleasure of Allah (swt). Thus, these barbaric actions will not discourage them, nor weaken their resolve, but will increase their vigor and determination to move forward in order to change this corrupt reality, which does not resemble the nation of Islam, and we believe with certainty that Allah Almighty is our helper, our support.
