MTV Includes “Hizb ut Tahrir” in Armed Groups
Linked to the Iranian Party and Bashar Regime!

On Friday, MTV released a news report on armed groups in Palestinian camps in which Hizb ut Tahrir was included in armed groups linked to the Iranian Party (Hezbollah) and the Syrian regime!!!

Accordingly, it is important for us to indicate the following:

Firstly: those far and near know the radical enmity between Hizb ut Tahrir and the Syrian regime, not only in recent years, but throughout the history of this secular sectarian system. Everyone knows the Hizb’s straightforward honest stances against supporting the Iranian regime of the tyrant of ash-Sham and its affiliates, as well as against the aggression of the militias of that regime and its party against the Muslims especially since their involvement in the dirty war against the people of Syria. How then would Hizb ut Tahrir have a link to these two allies?

Secondly: all those who follow the history of “Hizb ut Tahrir” and its reality know that it does not pursue armed action and that it has not established any military faction since its inception and to this day.

Thirdly: it is not appropriate for a longstanding channel such as MTV to fall into such a scandalous fall, which lies between two possibilities: either a tendentious and blatant slander against Hizb ut Tahrir, or naivety that is inappropriate to the lowest levels of the press and the media. Whether the channel will publish this statement or its reluctance to publish it is what will outweigh either of these possibilities.
