For another time the Muslims in Kenya have witnessed a series of oppressive invasions by the police on the mosques: Sakina and Musa in Mombasa. This brutal and barbaric action that lead to the death of a student and the arrest of around 250 youths, was ostensibly carried out under the guise of ejecting radicalized youths from the mosques. We of the Islamic Political Party Hizb ut Tahrir East Africa strongly condemn that inhumane act and would like to expound on the following:

The brutality and harshness of the Kenyan police has skyrocketed especially against the Muslims. While there exist various dangerous gangs that lynch innocent people like Baghdad Boys, Mungiki whose majority of their followers are Christians. Yet we have never witnessed a single church being under the police siege tantamount to what they normally do against the Muslims. Unfortunately, the police on their pursuit of oppression against the Muslims, tend to brand the Muslims awful and horrible names such as radicalists, extremists, religious fanatics in an endeavor to legalize their cruelty against them. This is the true picture and essence of the capitalist ideology police as they are only being used to brutalize Muslims.

The horrendous claim that there are good Muslims: moderates and bad Muslims: radicals is naught but a heinous plot hatched to divide them. Even if there exists a difference of opinion amongst them, the government has no legal right whatsoever to continue to subjugate and oppress them under that excuse. We strongly denounce these calls and slogans and the war on terror for in their totality are meant to combat Islam and Muslims.

This subjugation is as a result of the dearth of real representation of the Muslims issues. Even politicians, who come out feigning to condemn this brutality and cruelty, do it just to achieve political mileage. The evidence can be justified by their act of deceiving innocent Muslims that participation in the democratic system is the sole way of averting oppressions launched against Muslims. While knowingly concealing the glaring truth that it's the democratic system that is the source of all the tribulations, sufferings and the cruelty committed against innocent people and worse their fellow Muslims.

This subjugation and oppression being witnessed today, is just amongst many others that are being committed against the Muslims worldwide and, for granted, they will never cease till the Muslims embark on their abandoned tedious obligation to work towards the sole purpose of the reestablishment of the just Islamic State Khilafah "Caliphate" in one of the many Muslims countries. That is the only ruling system potent of safeguarding Muslims and non-Muslims alike against the oppression of their enemies.
