Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa Sends a Delegation to the Embassy of Pakistan to Demand Their Country Releases Naveed Butt

In a continuous worldwide campaign to squeeze and criticize the dictatorial Pakistan authorities, Hizb ut Tahrir East Africa sent a special delegation of not less than ten members to the Pakistan embassy in Dar es salaam on Tuesday 08/01/2013. The main objective of the visit was to demand their country to release Naveed Butt, the official spokesman of Hizb ut Tahrir Pakistan who was abducted in front of his children more than eight months ago.

The Deputy Media Representative for East Africa Masoud Msellem and Communications Committee Representative Sheikh Mussa Kileo, on behalf of the delegation had the opportunity to meet an embassy official Mohammad Mushtaq. Later on, they also had the opportunity to meet the Ambassador Muhamad Iqbal and present him the letter.

In conjuction with the visit, Hizb ut Tahrir / East Africa calls on all Muslims and anyone who loves justice to continue squeezing the Pakistani authorities so as to release Naveed Butt whose biggest crime according to the views of the authorities is his uncompromising stand in propagating truth from his Lord and criticizing the government for injustices and cooperating with kufar specifically America in killing and harming Muslims. All these being done by Naveed Butt through intellectual and political discourse without using even an atom of force
