The Jordanian State Security Court, Unjustly, Malignity and on False Accusations, Sentences Dr. Salim Jaradat to Three Years of Prison
(Translated)

On Wednesday, 27/08/2017, the State Security Court in Jordan issued its unfair sentence on Dr. Salim Jaradat one of Hizb ut Tahrir’s Shabab, it sentenced him unjustly, malignity and on false accusations to three years of prison, charged of working to destroy the regime, lengthening the tongue and associating with an illegal organization (Hizb ut Tahrir).

We in Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah of Jordan, while standing against the historical strengthening on the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir and the injustice they are faced with from the security apparatus and the State Security Court, say to the regime and its men who are unjust and use their positions and official posts to play their strength against Hizb ut Tahrir and its Shabab, by throwing them in jail and prisons only because they say Allah is our Lord and they do not praise the regime, rather they enjoin the good and forbid the evil and they question the regime according to Islam as Allah (swt) and His Prophet (saw) ordered, and they work for the implementation of the Islamic laws in the reality of life as an example and submission to their Almighty Lord’s command: [وَأَنِ احْكُم بَيْنَهُم بِمَآ أَنزَلَ اللّهُ] "And judge between them according to what God revealed” [Al-Maaidah: 49].

We say to them what the Prophet (saw) said: «إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَيُمْلِي لِلظَّالِمِ حَتَّى إِذَا أَخَذَهُ لَمْ يُفْلِتْهُ»“Allah swt dictates onto the oppressor, if He takes him he will not escape Him swt” and no excuse will be accepted from you in front of Allah (swt) on Judgement day, which you sold to your master for a little piece of the dunya:

  [يَوْمَ تُقَلَّبُ وُجُوهُهُمْ فِي النَّارِ يَقُولُونَ يَا لَيْتَنَا أَطَعْنَا اللَّهَ وَأَطَعْنَا الرَّسُولَا * وَقَالُوا رَبَّنَا إِنَّا أَطَعْنَا سَادَتَنَا وَكُبَرَاءَنَا فَأَضَلُّونَا السَّبِيلَا * رَبَّنَا آتِهِمْ ضِعْفَيْنِ مِنَ الْعَذَابِ وَالْعَنْهُمْ لَعْنًا كَبِيرًا]

“The Day when their faces are flipped into the Fire, they will say, “If only we had obeyed God and obeyed the Messenger.” * And they will say, “Lord, we have obeyed our superiors and our dignitaries, but they led us away from the way * Lord, give them double the punishment, and curse them with a great curse.”” [Al-Ahzab: 66-68]

You still have a chance before the angel of death confronts you and takes your soul to Allah the defender of the weak, so – are you returning to Allah and stopping the oppression? Or will you continue drowning in your disobedience?! Tempted by positions, money and ranks? If you think that your oppression and unjust court sentences will discourage Hizb ut Tahrir and its Shabab from continuing to carry the dawah and work for the resumption of the Islamic life in the Khilafah state (Caliphate) on the methodology of the Prophethood, then you are dreaming. Hizb ut Tahrir and its Shabab firmly keep by their promise to their oath to Allah (swt) and on the road of Allah’s Prophet. For the sake of Allah (swt) they fear blame from the one who blames, they are not occupied with the right of the spiteful and the deceitful ones’ thoughts and oppression does not stop them from working for Allah’s sake. They proceed on the road of glory, victory and freeing the Ummah from lowness, oppression and enslavement, while they are patient with the harm and they have tawakkul on Allah (swt):

[وَمَا لَنَا أَلَّا نَتَوَكَّلَ عَلَى اللَّهِ وَقَدْ هَدَانَا سُبُلَنَا وَلَنَصْبِرَنَّ عَلَىٰ مَا آذَيْتُمُونَا وَعَلَى اللَّهِ فَلْيَتَوَكَّلِ الْمُتَوَكِّلُونَ]

“And why should we not trust in God, when He has guided us in our ways? We will persevere in the face of your persecution. And upon God the reliant should rely.” [Ibrahim: 12]. Awaiting Allah’s promise of victory and consolidation:

[وَنُرِيدُ أَن نَّمُنَّ عَلَى الَّذِينَ اسْتُضْعِفُوا فِي الْأَرْضِ وَنَجْعَلَهُمْ أَئِمَّةً وَنَجْعَلَهُمُ الْوَارِثِينَ]

“But We desired to favor those who were oppressed in the land, and to make them leaders, and to make them the inheritors.” [Al-Qasas: 5], with Allah’s permission it will be soon.

O Muslims!

For those who are bound by the Shari’ obligation, working for the removal of oppression of the imprisoned of your brothers and sisters in faith and blood, who declare the truth from Hizb ut Tahrir and other faithful brothers who live amongst you and you know their call as well as you know their places of residence. They are being exposed to severe oppression from jail, beating, insult, sentences and unfair courts after they have violated the privacy of their homes and frightened their children and women – had the time not come for you to move and remove the oppression from them and to remove the oppressor and turn him towards the truth, a turn that will save you from your Lord’s promise?! Your Prophet Muhammad (saw) says:

«وَاللَّه لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بالْمعْرُوفِ، وَلَتَنْهوُنَّ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ، ولَتَأْخُذُنَّ عَلَى يَدِ الظَّالِمِ، ولَتَأْطِرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ أَطْراً، ولَتقْصُرُنَّهُ عَلَى الْحَقِّ قَصْراً، أَوْ لَيَضْرِبَنَّ اللَّه بقُلُوبِ بَعْضِكُمْ عَلَى بَعْضٍ، ثُمَّ لَيَلْعَنكُمْ كَمَا لَعَنَهُمْ»“Nay, by Allah, you either enjoin good and forbid evil and catch hold of the hand of the oppressor and persuade him to act justly and stick to the truth, or, Allah will involve the hearts of some of you with the hearts of others and will curse you as He had cursed them” [Abu Dawud and At-Tirmidhi]

All praise to Allah (swt) who said:

[فَلَمَّا نَسُواْ مَا ذُكِّرُواْ بِهِ أَنجَيْنَا الَّذِينَ يَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ السُّوءِ وَأَخَذْنَا الَّذِينَ ظَلَمُواْ بِعَذَابٍ بَئِيسٍ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَفْسُقُونَ]

“Then, when they neglected what they were reminded of, We saved those who prohibited evil, and We seized those who did wrong with a terrible punishment, because of their sinfulness.” [Al-A’raf: 165]
