Solidarity Action for Syria

To defend his regime, the president of Syria, Bashar Assad, continues killing his people. He killed 245 persons and injured 700 others on the 3rd of February in the city of Homs. The same tragedy also happened throughout Syria. This despotic regime never stops killing his people. It has been reported more than 7000 persons were killed by Bashar Assad since 15th March 2011.

The massacres, assassinations, bombings and very brutal destructions done by Bashar Assad are really showing the regime is becoming closer to its death, especially since many military members and their supporters switched around to attack him.

But expecting the United Nations to end the crisis in Syria and in other Muslim countries means giving the Muslim problem to the hands of enemy. It also means letting the Muslim problem to be an object of negotiation, concession, conspiracy and forcing conditions which are harmful to the Muslim Ummah. All of these will alienate Muslim countries from their identity. Therefore people of Syria must not invite foreign interference to solve the problem, neither through UN nor other parties including secular oppositions. What is required is firmness and seriousness of Islamic activists with the support of Muslims in Syria and other Muslim countries to work together to overthrow this despotic regime and change it with a new ruler that stands for Islam and works for the glory of Islam. The firmness of the Syrian people in facing the brutality of Bashar Assad is an indicator of strong willpower to overthrow Bashar.

To support the fight of Muslims in Syria, today, HTI together with Ummah staged solidarity actions in Jakarta and other major cities (Medan, Yogyakarta, Surabaya, Banjarmasin, Makassar, and Kendari). May Allah help the people of Syria to achieve success and be glorious in this life and the Hereafter and give them good reward.

We call upon Muslims in Syria to stand patient, firm, brave and to sacrifice for the sake of Allah (swt) only and not to associate Him with others, neither with the Security Council of United Nations nor false opposition. We insist on the officers in Syria not to be tools for killing people. It is time to be free from fear of this despotic regime. So keep firm to help the Deen of Allah (swt).

[يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا كُونُوا أَنصَارَ اللَّهِ] (الصف:14)

"O you who have believed, be supporters of Allah" [As-Saf: 14]

Let us work hand in hand with people and Hizbut Tahrir to establish al Khilafah "Caliphate" ar-Rashidah which implements Shariah, states rights and duties of all people whether Muslims or not.

[وَيَوْمَئِذٍ يَفْرَحُ الْمُؤْمِنُونَ] (الروم)

"... And that day the believers will rejoice (4) In the victory of Allah..." [ar-Rum: 4-5].

Rasulullah (saw) said:

«أَلاَ إِنَّ رَحَى الْإِسْلاَمِ دَائِرَةٌ، فَدُورُوا مَعَ الْكِتَابِ حَيْثُ دَارَ، أَلاَ إِنَّ الْكِتَابَ وَالسُّلْطَانَ سَيَفْتَرِقَانِ، فَلاَ تُفَارِقُوا الْكِتَابَ، أَلاَ إِنَّهُ سَيَكُونُ عَلَيْكُمْ أُمَرَاءُ يَقْضُونَ لِأَنْفُسِهِمْ مَا لاَ يَقْضُونَ لَكُمْ، إِنْ عَصَيْتُمُوهُمْ قَتَلُوكُمْ، وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ أَضَلُّوكُمْ» قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، كَيْفَ نَصْنَعُ؟ قَالَ: «كَمَا صَنَعَ أَصْحَابُ عِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ، نُشِرُوا بِالْمَنَاشِيرَ، وَحُمِلُوا عَلَى الْخَشَبِ، مَوْتٌ فِي طَاعَةِ اللهِ خَيْرٌ مِنْ حَيَاةٍ فِي مَعْصِيَةِ الله»

Our brothers in Syria be assured that all Muslims in the world support you, defend your cause, and pray to Allah (swt) to give you victory over your enemies. Your blood is our blood, your martyrs are our martyrs and your dignity and glory is for all Muslims.
