Hizb ut Tahrir / Scandinavia launched the campaign “Use your voice, but not in the election!” in Sweden during the summer. It consisted of a series of activities such as videos, distribution of campaign booklets, gatherings and interaction with Muslims.

On Monday, May 28, 2018, the last part of the Danish government's ghetto plan was transformed into political agreements across the Danish parliament. The result: forced institutionalization of one-year-old children for 25 hours a week to indoctrinate them in Danish democratic traditions and values, before they can even speak.

1st March 2018, Prime Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen presented the government's large-scale ghetto plan. Flanked by a total of seven ministers, the plan was presented from inside Mjølnerparken in Copenhagen. One of the holes in the map, as the prime minister has direly described the housing areas of 28,000 families. "We're ready to go far," he said.

For the past week, the Danish media have once again been focusing on the Muslim schools. This renewed focus comes after Dan Jørgensen, spokesman on matters of integration for the Social Democrats, declared that his party is now aligned with the right-wing Danish People’s Party in the matter of Muslim schools, as both parties want them shut down by removing public subsidies
