The International Rescue Committee revealed on Monday, 14th January 2013, that rape is being used as a tool of war in Syria which is the main reason Syrian families are fleeing to neighbouring countries. It described this heinous crime as a 'significant and disturbing feature of the Syrian civil war.'

Jordan is currently experiencing some of the harshest weather conditions with freezing temperatures and torrential rains, causing the Muslims in the country's Syrian refugee camp to fight for survival due to atrocious living conditions.
