Sighting Result of the Shawwal Moon And Congratulations on the coming of the blessed Eid ul-Fitr
(Translated)

Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar...There is no God but Allah... Allahu Akbar... Allahu Akbar, Praise be to Allah...

All Praise is due to Allah, peace and blessings be upon the Messenger of Allah, his family, companions, allies, and those who followed in his path; thus making the Islamic Aqeedah the basis for one's thoughts, the Ahkaam Shari'ah (Legislative Rulings) the measure for one's actions and source for their rulings.

Bukhari reported in his Sahih as narrated by Mohammad bin Zeyad who said: I heard Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with them) say: that the Messenger of Allah (saw), or he said: Abu Al-Qasim (sallalahu alaihi wassallam) said:

"صوموا لِرُؤيتِهِ وأَفْطِرُوا لرؤيتِهِ فإنْ غُـبِّيَ عليكم فأَكْمِلُوا عِدَّةَ شعبانَ ثلاثين" "Fast when you see it, and break your fast when you see it, and if the weather is cloudy do calculate it (the months of Shaban and Shawwal) as thirty days."

After investigation of the sighting of the moon of Shawwal on this blessed night, the night of Thursday, a valid sighting of the New Moon has been proven according to the Shari'ah requirements, based on this:

First: We received the following from the brothers who were assigned with monitoring the new moon that the sighting of the new moon has been seen on their part in East Malloch, Indonesia, and in Beit Hanina, Palestine.

Second: We have received testimonies of the sighting of the new moon from Muslims in Sudair, Chakra and Tamir of Saudi Arabia; and from Karla in the Kalkot region of India; and in Eastern and Central Java and West Papua and South Sulawesi of Indonesia.

Therefore, tomorrow being Thursday 08/08/2013 is the first day of Shawwal and the first day of the blessed Eid ul-Fitr.

And on this occasion, the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir, the eminent scholar Ata Bin Khalil Abu Al-Rashtah, may Allah protect him, congratulates all the people of the dear Islamic Ummah on the Eid...

And he asks Allah Almighty that he bestow us with the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" that will implement Allah's Laws on Earth, and carry Islam, a message of guidance and light, to the world, the state of justice that will free the lands and bring justice to the slaves of Allah, the State of Jihad with which conquests will be unceasing, so the people will chant Allahu Akbar on their Eids, and in their conquests Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, There is no God but Allah, Allahu Akbar Allahu Akbar, All praise is for Allah...

And likewise I convey the congratulations of the Head of the Central Media Office of Hizb ut Tahrir and all the members who work for the Ameer of Hizb ut Tahrir and all the Muslims on the blessed Eid ul-Fitr.

Oh Muslims everywhere,

I ask Allah Almighty that He has accepted our fasting and qiyyam; our kneeling and prostrating; and all of our actions. As we ask that He return it on the Islamic Ummah and that Allah bless us with the just and righteous Khaleefah with who we will protect ourselves with and fight behind... he leads with the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Prophet sallahu alaihi wassalam... and that is not mighty for Allah.

This Eid passes us with the persisting blood bath in al-Sham, the center of Dar al-Islam, and with the failure of the poison democratic process in Egypt, and its faltering in Tunisia and Libya.....

These realities prove, to the near and far, the enormity of the western crusader cunningness which sees in the establishment of the Khilafah "Caliphate" State a fatal danger to the continuation of imperial dominance of the lands of the Muslims and to the servitude that serves the Imperialistic interests and the plundering of their wealth, and more importantly to prevent the emergence of the Islamic formidability which will put an end to the savagery of the secular system that has exasperated humanity with its affliction and crimes...

So we say to our people in al-Sham,

Patience, our beloved ones, so do not despair from the deceit of the crusaders and their cronies including agent-rulers of the Muslims and their apparatuses in the surrounding countries from Turkey to Jordan and Iraq and Lebanon and the rulers of Egypt, Iran, the Gulf and others who agreed to betray you and surrender to the imperial impositions.

And be confident and certain that patience is the key to relief, and victory is only from Allah, so no one should presume that the leaders of the West, and their regional apparatuses of rulers and states and their local tools of politicians and leaders that feign purity and chastity with their marketing of the poison of a political solution that America imposed, for all of them do not want good for us. Indeed they are plotting to renew dominance over our Sham, despite the new faces that claim to be pure and chaste, and the Lord of Glory was truthful saying: (ويمكرون ويمكر الله والله خير الماكرين) "They plot, and Allah plots, and Allah is the best of plotters." [Surah Al Anfal: Aya 30]

To our people in Egypt and Tunisia we say:

 The sham of democracy which claims to be based on the legitimacy of the ballot box has been exposed to you, and this democracy is no more than a renewal of the era of the previous imperialism..

And you went out calling for the downfall of the regime under the slogan: "A Martyr is Allah's Beloved"...

So do not be fooled by the mirage of elections for true legitimacy is what emanates from the Aqeedah of the Muslims from the adherence to what Allah, the Lord of the universe, revealed of Shar'i obligations...

And you are the decedents of the Companions and the Followers that dispersed throughout the Earth to spread the light of Islam and its mercy and justice...

And as your predecessors from before who destroyed both the Crusader and Mogul attacks, for you today are able to destroyed the Imperialist attack on our Ummah and return the spark of Islam to the world...

Do not accept degradation in your Deen...

And do not trust the false promises of the crusaders, ((هم العدو فاحذرهم)) (They are the enemy, so beware of them). And reject from your ranks all who promote the western poison...

For the joy to be complete, the Islamic way of life must return in all areas: political, economic, social, educational, and all aspects of life...

And this will not be except by the establishment of the declaration of the second righteous Khilafah "Caliphate" on the way of the Prophethood.

And for the joy to be complete, the imperial western existence must be swept from the Muslim lands, never to return; and for the liberation of the Muslim lands.

And in order for the joy to be complete, Masjid al-Aqsa and Palestine must be liberated from the filth of the Jews, and Jerusalem purified from their filth.

Eid ul-Fitr is a blessing and virtue from Allah Almighty upon the Muslims, and the Eid of Eids will be with the realization of Allah Almighty's promise and the tidings of His Prophet sallahu alaihi wassalam of victory and empowerment, and the building of the state that will rule by His Shari', the state of the Righteous Khilafah "Caliphate".

So Hizb ut Tahrir calls you to the Eid of Eids and to the work for its realization, and conclude your Eid with the compliance to Allah's (swt)

command and work with the sincere workers to honor and empower this Deen so that together we will chant Allahu Akbar on the day of the clear victory, a chant of the victorious obedient grateful repented...

Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar... La illaha illa Allah
Allahu Akbar, Allahu Akbar... wal Hamdulilah

Allahu Akbar Kabeerah wal Hamdulilah Katheerah wa SubhanAllah bukrat wa Aseelah
[Glory is for Allah in the morning and evening]

There is no God but Allah... He kept His Promise... and made His slave victorious... and He alone honored His soldiers and defeated all the groups
There is no God but Allah... and we worship non but Him... Sincere to Him in our Deen even if the Kuffar despise it.

Eid Mubarak and may Allah accept our and your acts of worship.

 The night of Thursday is the first of Shawwal for the year of 1434 AH, corresponding to the eighth of August 2013 CE.
