Hizb ut Tahrir vow's that Khilafat would defend the blood of the Muslims from American Attacks
London 26th December 2010 - On 26th December 2010 Hizb ut-Tahrir in Britain held a special event to examine the betrayal of Pakistan's rulers in light of the latest Wikileaks revelations. The event was chaired by Rizwan Hussain, member of Hizb ut Tahrir's Pakistan Committee and was addressed by Imam Qaiser Raheem and Khaja Pervez Hassan from Hizb ut Tahrir's Pakistan Committee. Atif Salahuddin of Hizb ut Tahrir's Pakistan Committee was also present along with community leader Raja Mushtaq who also joined the panel.
In his opening remarks chair Rizwan Hussain observed that Pakistanis around the world were sickened yet not surprised at all at the new Wikileaks revelations; they simply proved once again the level of complicity and sheer treachery of Pakistan's rulers in serving America to implement her plan for the region.
Imam Qaiser in his address said the time had come for Pakistanis to move beyond such revelations and think about how they could wrest control back of Pakistan from these illegitimate corrupt rulers. Imam Qaiser said Pakistan's history and events had proven over and over again that it does not matter who is in power, whether it is a dictator like General Pervez Musharraf or democrats like Nawaz Sharif, Asif Ali Zardari or Yousuf Raza Gilliani, they have the same subservience and obedience to their masters in Washington and London. Imam Qaiser said that these rulers had always compromised the security of the country for their own corrupt interests and had outsourced their foreign policy to the West. The Khilafat's foreign policy would end this humiliating disgrace and ensure that the West could no longer create such wicked mischief he added.
Khaja Pervez Hassan in his remarks said that Pakistan's political system was responsible for the production of such spineless slaves to Washington - with both democracy and dictatorship being equally culpable. Khaja said that Hizb ut Tahrir demanded the resignation of the Pakistani government and called for the rulers to be put on trial for treason and for the complicity in the murder of their own citizens. The Khilafat would dare not allow any foreign power to attack any Muslim and would treat any covert drone attacks as an act of war and would respond with the full might of the statecraft at it's disposal including all diplomatic, economic and military means he concluded.
The speeches were followed by a lengthy question and answer session with many of the audience expressing their deep revulsion and anguish over the conduct of Pakistan's rulers. Raja Mushtaq in his remarks said that only the sincere Khilafat system that the noble Prophet Muhammad (sallallahu alayhi wasallam) brought us could tackle the threat to Pakistan from the increasingly belligerent American attacks and ensure the security of the Muslims of Pakistan. How many more such damning revelations do we need before we will act he asked? Raja Mushtaq called upon the people of Pakistan to implement the Khilafat system by working with Hizb ut Tahrir and it's exclusively peaceful political method without delay before a greater catastrophe strikes the people of Pakistan at the hands of these shameless rulers.
Atif Salahuddin explained that it was America that needed Pakistan for it's AFPAK war and that Pakistan's rulers had facilitated America's presence. Atif rejected that the Khilafat could be attacked by America similar to the current manner Pakistan was suffering today, saying that the Muslims of Pakistan had a powerful army to defend it, something that the million man army of India with it's nuclear arsenal could not surmount. What was really required, he said, was the political will to exercise this military authority that could only be provided by a sincere leadership, not by the current rulers who actually provide the supply lines and military bases in Pakistan that America needs to carry out it's cowardly attacks. Atif said that the safety, security, honour and dignity of the people would be central to any foreign policy decision taken by the Khaleefa who would be obliged by Allah(SWT) to safeguard the lives of the citizens of the Khilafat State.
The evening closed with the announcement that Hizb ut Tahrir would be leading a special delegation to the Pakistan High Commission in London where a letter would be handed in demanding the removal of Pakistan's corrupt rulers and their subsequent indictment and trial for treason. All were welcome to join this delegation.
