New Evidence of CIA covert operations in Pakistan and America's plan to expand its war in Pakistan
Dear Mr Wajid Shamsul Hasan,
Assalamu alaikum,An article in the New York Times on the 6th December 2009 titled "How Obama came to plan for „Surge‟ in Afghanistan" appears to reveal startling new evidence of America‟s hostile aims within Pakistan.
The article says, in relation to Pakistan "Mr. Obama and his advisers also considered options for stepping up the pursuit of extremists in Pakistan's border areas. He eventually approved a C.I.A. request to expand the areas where remotely piloted aircraft could strike, and other covert action. The trick would be getting Pakistani consent, which still has not been granted."
It should be impossible for Pakistan‟s current leaders to remain silent upon this because anything other than firm decisive action would be an act of complicity. Hence we demand to know:
1. Does Interior Minister Rehman Malik intend to deny and cover up these covert CIA operations as it denies the presence of Blackwater-Xe within Pakistan and covers its activity?
2. Does the Zardari-Gilani regime insist on continuing to supply fuel from Pakistani refineries for the drone aircraft, supply routes and the use of military bases within Pakistan for this act of war?
The United States government sees itself as looking after its own corporate interests in the region. But, the real crime of today is the complicity of the Zardari-Gilani regime with their actions that include the shedding the blood of Muslims and creating instability, insecurity, terror and instability in Pakistan.
It is truly a betrayal that in the same week as the crime against the Rawalpindi masjid, the government makes no stand against this expansion of American sponsored terror in Pakistan.
Hizb ut-Tahrir and the Muslims in Pakistan can see that behind Obama‟s silky words come drones and bombs that are killing Muslims.
Isn‟t it time this bankrupt regime was moved aside and leadership was handed to a sincere leader, the Khalifah, who would defend the interests of the Muslims according to the Quran and Sunnah? That would mean a policy that would expel these U.S. security, intelligence and paramilitary organisations from Pakistan, and halting all logistical support so that the region could be rid once and for all from American sponsored terror.
Yours sincerely,
Dr Abdul Wahid
