On March 10, 2022, Bangladesh Nari Pragati Sangha (BNPS), a local women’s rights organization, has demanded amendment of the existing family laws and enact a new one in Bangladesh to ensure equal rights for women in inheritance and family property. At the event, they vented their anger on Islam by saying that no civil or criminal law in the country is controlled by religion except the inheritance law.

As you know, in this subcontinent, after two hundred years of struggle against the exploitation and oppression of British colonialism, Pakistan and India emerged as independent States on 14th and 15th August 1947 respectively. Later in 1971 Bangladesh emerged as an independent State. But the Western Secular-Capitalist system is still continuing through the agent rulers, corrupt politicians, and hypocritical intellectuals.

By abandoning the cause of liberating the Blessed Land of Palestine and betraying its noble Ummah, the lying and traitorous Hasina regime has sent our military to join an America-led large scale naval drill in Gulf waters alongside the illegitimate Jewish entity.

While the people in Bangladesh are outraged over their unending misery due to the skyrocketing fuel prices and oppressive taxes, the criminal regime of Hasina wants to subdue the growing anger through increasing surveillance. The allocation of Tk 200 crore of public money for procuring spying devices says all about how scared this government is now of its own citizens!
