Peace and Allah's Mercy and Blessings Upon You

We extend our warmest greetings to the Muslims, in this country and wherever this message may reach. We pray your Ramadhan has been blessed and your duas are being accepted. We pray this month has been one of joy, happiness and devotion.

We write to you because the Muslims of Palestine are crying out. They are crying for you to hear their screams, feel their tears and share their pain. They are trying, with whatever strength they have left, to get you to see through the rubble and dust that has set upon them again and see matters as they should be seen.

What hurts most is not the barbarity of the occupational entity or the connivance of its Western backers. What hurts most is not even the treachery of the Muslim rulers who should be safeguarding the Muslims but instead do everything to safeguard the occupation. All this is known and long established, and none of it is surprising at all.

What hurts the most is how the Muslims have failed so abysmally in organising themselves, in applying pressure, in being resolute in their efforts and in concentrating their calls to ensure real and permanent outcomes. 

Allah (swt) says: [وَإِنِ استَنْصَرُوكُمْ فِي الدِّينِ فَعَلَيْكُمُ النَّصْرُ] "But if they seek your help (against persecution) in faith, it is your obligation to help them” [Al-Anfaal 8:72].

The Muslims of Palestine do not want your tears. They do not want your guilt. They do not even want your duas if it is not coupled with concrete action.

The Muslims of Palestine are not waiting for the United Nations, or the Arab League, or the OIC, or the ICC or any other single or multilateral state institution. They are all responsible for the crime of the occupation, from its very inception, and have legitimised its every crime since, including the latest breaking of the ceasefire.

The Muslims of Palestine are waiting for the next Salahudeen, who will rid the Muslim world of treacherous rulers, who just as they did in the past, placed their hands with our enemies’. They are waiting for the next Salahudeen who will rally the Muslims behind him, who will run over the agents of kufr who stand before him, and who will recapture the Muslim’s collective power after it was usurped by its enemies.

Muslims have power and strength. They have armies, economies and immeasurable material and intellectual strength. Above all, they have Allah (swt) on their side.

The problem is that all this strength is chained by our enemies in the form of rulers who exist to safeguard the conspiracies of their masters. What a travesty when a tired and defenceless people are expected to confront the might of the world’s superpowers when standing armies exist on every side of the occupation.

What do the Muslims of Palestine ask of you? They ask that you rise up against these treacherous rulers, wherever you may reside, and in whatever way you can. To demand their downfall and replacement with a sincere Islamic leadership. Most importantly, to demand the Muslim armies stand with the people, in Palestine and beyond, and fulfill their Islamic obligations in liberating all Muslim lands. All of this through a concentrated effort seeking the reestablishment of the Khilafah (Caliphate), that stands at the centre of this entire project.

The world as we know it is being redrawn before our very eyes. Political sands are shifting, power is being redistributed, international institutions are crumbling, and political maps are being recast. Why would we continue to be bound by political boundaries that not even the West accept anymore? The Muslim armies belong to the Muslims, it’s time we reclaim what is ours.

The Prophet (saw) said:

‏«وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ لَتَأْمُرُنَّ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَلَتَنْهَوُنَّ عَنْ الْمُنْكَرِ أَوْ لَيُوشِكَنَّ اللَّهُ أَنْ يَبْعَثَ عَلَيْكُمْ عِقَابًا مِنْهُ ثُمَّ تَدْعُونَهُ فَلَا يُسْتَجَابُ لَكُمْ»

“By Him in Whose Hand my life is, you either enjoin good and forbid evil, or Allah will certainly soon send His punishment to you. Then you will make supplication and it will not be accepted”. [At-Tirmidhi]
