Open Letter from Hizb ut Tahrir / Australia to the Government of Pakistan via the Consul General in Sydney Kayani-Zardari's Cowardly Regime Continues Arrests of Members of Hizb ut Tahir / Pakistan

On the 17th of February 2013, the head of Hizb ut Tahrir Pakistan's Central Contact Committee, Saad Jagranvi was arrested, along with four others, for the second time in a matter of weeks. He was addressing a seminar organised by Hizb ut Tahrir in Rawalpindi on the matter of the Kiyani military doctrine, exposing it as a doctrine of submission, humiliation and capitulation before a hostile force - America.

Hizb ut Tahrir / Australia highlights the following:

"The desperation of the Pakistani government is all too obvious. They are so terrified of the call for Khilafah "Caliphate" they will kidnap and detain the sincere members of Hizb ut Tahrir to stifle their call. For over 9 months now, Naveed Butt, spokesman for Hizb ut Tahrir Pakistan, has been missing, his whereabouts and conditions unknown, despite court orders to produce him. They seek, by whatever illegitimate means, to silence the call for Islam and the Khilafah "Caliphate". The Pakistani government should know these shameful tactics will not prevent the sincere Islamic dawah carriers from fulfilling their duties to Allah (swt) and calling for the removal of the tyrants and the implementation of Islam."

"The Kiyani-Zardari government should also know that the call for Islam is the life of the Ummah, that the demand for the Khilafah "Caliphate" runs through the veins of the Muslim and that the implementation of the sharia is only a matter of time. But instead of allowing the sincere and capable amongst the Muslims to rule by Islam, the Pakistani government conspires to weaken the country from within by tearing the country apart and bleeding the country dry."

"The Pakistani military is made up of the sincere sons of Pakistan who have a zeal for Islam and Jihad. However, it is the leadership of the military that has betrayed this sentiment and instead sold the Pakistani army for the uses of its enemies. The truthful within the Pakistani military should abandon their leadership and give their support to the honest and upright Muslims who will implement Islam via the Khilafah "Caliphate". Then the Pakistani military will cease to be enslaved and instead become a force of liberty and honour for the Muslims not just in Pakistan, but worldwide, and would strike terror into the hearts of the enemies of the Muslims."
