The fall of the former Syrian regime marked a turning point in the history of the Islamic Ummah. It confirmed that Allah (swt) is always with the oppressed, that Muslim revolutions are not dead, and that the project of change, championed by the Ummah's sons and daughters to revive Islam and resume conveying its risaalah (message) to the world, has not ceased.

In a sudden move on 6 March 2025, large gatherings of remnants of the former Syrian regime launched an attack on police and security headquarters, killing dozens and setting up ambushes targeting the forces of the New Syrian Army, which resulted in the death and injury of hundreds.

Turkish police raided the home of the Mayor of Istanbul, Ekrem İmamoğlu on March 19, 2025, to undertake an investigation regarding charges of corruption, bribery, fraud, leading a criminal organization and collaborating with a terrorist organization. Istanbul University revoked his university degree, a requirement for running in the presidential elections.

Allah (swt) prioritizes the performance of a Shariah obligation that has a time-bound limitation, over a Shariah obligation that does not. Allah (swt) has also prioritized within Shariah obligations, when they conflict. Allah (swt) has permitted those who are preoccupied with saving the life of a protected person, to delay their praying Salah, out of this Shariah necessity.
