Hizb ut Tahrir / Wilayah Pakistan has issued the following Publicized Policy Position (PPP) over the severe electricity crisis in the country which has crippled industry and agriculture as well as making the daily lives of the people a misery. A. PREAMBLE: Electricity is unaffordable and unavailable because of capitalism's privatization concept, as safeguarded by democracy. Through democracy's implementation of capitalism, the government is responsible for Pakistan's electricity crisis.

Our anger against the traitors within Pakistan's civilian and military leadership is unprecedented. As for economic misery, we struggle just to secure fuel, power, food, jobs, health-care and education. As for foreign policy humiliation, our armed forces are slapped in the face by America, in Abbotabad, in Salala and elsewhere, whilst we incur grave losses in lives and property through America's war.

Since March of last year, 2011, the Muslims of Syria, in ash-Shaam, have risen up against their ruler, President Bashar of the ruling Al-Assad family, whom America brought to power nearly forty years ago. During this time, the Al-Assad regime ruled by kufr socialism and capitalism, oppressing the people ruthlessly, reserving its greatest venom for those who call for Islam. We send this letter to the rulers of Iran via the diplomatic mission of Iran in Pakistan. We denounce the sending of Iranian troops to support the tyrant of Syria and American agent, Bashar al-Asad, against the Muslims of Syria. It has become clear that the Iranian forces, especially those from the Republican Guard, participated within the Shabiha thugs of Bashar al-Assad in the killing of Muslims in Syria.
