Hizb ut Tahrir / India:

Rajab 1444 AH Campaign

India Rajab

All Praises be to Allah Azza wa Jal. In response to the advisory sent by the eminent scholar Sheikh Ata Abu Al-Rashtah of Hizb ut Tahrir to remind the Muslim Ummah about the Rajab Remembrance 1444 AH, the Shabab of Hizb ut Tahrir in India undertook the noble campaign to reach out to the Muslim Ummah.

Intellectual activities were conducted in various cities throughout India from Rajab 1444 AH corresponding to March 2023 CE, to introduce and remind about the abolishment of the vital Islamic institution of Khilafah (Caliphate) State on 28 Rajab 1342 Hijri / 03 March 1924 CE in Istanbul. The most well received activities included:

• Discussion circles with family and friends engaging about the events that led to the ultimate destruction of the Caliphate in 1924 and the void it has left in the world for the last 100+ years, affecting it economically, socially and politically.

• Series of Open Circles for supporters and contacts were conducted in-person and online to present the obligation of the Khilafah institution on Muslims along with their evidences from Quran and Sunnah, its relevance in the political domain of the world and the prophecy of its imminent return along on the method of the Prophethood.

• Series of Forum discussions with Ulema, Journalists and Influential people to present the intellectual efforts of Hizb ut Tahrir to re-establish this institution in the Muslim world, the challenges it faces and the need to endure towards its revival.

• Various podcasts, articles and posters were shared on social media towards remembering the importance of this vital institution.

The Muslim Ummah, widely received the remembrance with concern, welcome and yearning for the return of the Khilafah Rashidah (rightly guided Caliphate) upon the method of the Prophethood soon, bidnillah.
